TAR education - TIPs
DSCF6201.JPG

whenever after any 2 x 2 feet area clayed - we should stop & check for any Visible sighted contaminants - such as tars, dust, sands or brake dust

Note
Failing to do such - you might transferred A to B & contaminate another area with scratches..etcs...

STOP! In the name of Love - before you hurt me!!!

DSCF6202.JPG

remove them prior folding to a new area & continue to clay the next area

DSCF6203.JPG

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

once preps is done - now I have a surface above free from contaminants - moving to paint corrections

DSCF6249.JPG

swirls

very visible fine line cut - is done only professionally - regular car wash damages!!!!

threats inflicted professional by car washes (or road side ones)
DSCF6268.JPG

SWIRLS is usually inflicted by our habits & the wrong way of handling washing , also techniques (wrong way of shampooing - circulating) & material used - such as sponges, worn out mitts/microfibers, drying cloth - cotton cloth - old rags, old t-shirts, jeans la....etcs...as our clear coat is only 2/1000th part of an inch

therefore I make it a point to change my Microfibers once every 3-4 months to prevent

a 50/50% area set

DSCF6428.JPG

after much careful paint corrected & re-inspected - all over again & again prior coating- as opti coat becomes a permanent part of the ride new paint system
opticoat.jpg

Opti-Coat provide a superior clear coat film that is highly resistant to chemical etching, harder than factory clear coat to reduce swirls and scratches, and a permanent hydrophobic surface that is easier to clean and stays cleaner for longer. as it does not get degrade and cannot be removed by chemicals such as cleaners wash or even degreasers

Totally awesome job!!

Btw can you share how you use optimum hyper spray polish?(which pad, number of section passes etc?)

I use it, and even though its amazing, but I always need to follow up with Menzerna po85rd in order to get the perfect finish.

This got me wondering, maybe I'm not using it correctly!

Very nice turnaround. I especially like the repair of the rock chips! Like the colour too. What engine did you get?

KC, there just isn't enough O's in WOW to describe the finished product after seeing what you started with. I would have loved to see the owners face when they picked up the car!

There's always allot of great information in your posts and everyone would be better if they read them...

Thanks for the fine work and posting for all to see KC..:props:

As always, another awsome job and post for KC! The car looks GREAT!

Was thinking I had not seen a post from KC in a little while and turned on the computer this morning and TaDa! this was up.

Superb job KC always look forward to seeing your work!

Congrats on the new addition KC, at least its in good hands now. Judging by the reflection shots, it looks like the paint is good and level.

*bows down* hail KC

Hi Sohail99, thanks for your kind words - I have been a faithful 205 user - good stuff - till i found OHSP -
the problem of detailing here is the temperature we are in & it get cakes up when we worked half way !!! 96.8 degree Fahrenheit...its boiling hot

With the latest technology in OHSP/OHSC a combination of both AD + SMAT = Mama mia results - mainly the long working time & its a far better polish i ever use

I have tried a numerous Pads dependant aggressiveness - OHSP is the best

so much so majority detail i can just finish it with polishing pad

i did a black porsche with a step down to finishing pads

the pic tells everything.....
