Good Lord! If this is the result of using Nanoskin I am IN!! :props:

Looks unbelievable!! I am detailing a motor home in a couple of weeks, and I will be using the Nanoskin, also!! It has beautiful paint, so it should come out mint!! Jim B.

Was that the nanoskin wash mitt, foam pad, sponge or towel?

I just received the wash mitt and haven't had a chance to try it yet so curious if that is what produced the glory on your Mopar car.

Was it the Autoscrub Medium grade or the fine grade. I believe the fine grade scrubber is blue and the medium scrubber is orange. I am glad to see that you like this better than a clay bar.

Just wanted to know which scrubber you used.

I have the Nanoskin Sponge package with both medium and fine!! I'm looking forward to using them!! I will let you know how they work!!

The fine one does an awesome job. I have used the medium ones as well but was not as impressed. Dépends on paint condition obviously. It's amazing to Watch too, last car I did had a yellow paint. After doing 5 steps of washes and rinces black gunk was coming out of the paint when I used the sponge. It's quick, and easy to use. I actually use my ears to know when I am done with a section. It sounds completelly different when the contaminants are gone.

Thank you for your input. I will be getting the fine scrubbing mitt as well as the sponge. Start out conservative and nice to know you liked the fine scrub better.

Have a great day!

Hey Bobby G, Nanoskin, then Wolfgang Polish and Sealant. Not bad for a daily driver (67,000 miles)and no garage in Washington State aye?

I bought the medium and fine foam pad. The fine worked just great. It was shiny before, but being my daily driver the hood kind of scared me. Sounded like sand paper! No worries, super quick and does a great job.

I used the fine (blue pad) and it worked just great. I used it as I washed my car. Took my about 1 1/2 hours total compared to 6 hours to clay bar last time. Another nice thing. You drop the Nano, you just rinse it off!

i agree its fast.. but on my hondas and nissan the fine did mar the paint.. no biggy as I was doing polishing after, but if I wasn't going to polish it would have sucked!

Yep! For me as well. For a correction it's a no brainer as it saves so much time. However, if I were only changing or refreshing LSP I would opt for fine clay.

Keep the sponge in a dedicated box of some sort. I went to use mine today and when I pulled it out of my detailing box a wrench was stuck to it as well as what looked like crunched up leaves. I spent about 20 min with tweezers picking each piece off lol.

I now keep mine upside down in a cheap Tupperware that I got from the doller store.

I let mine (already dry) on top of a MF pile, closed in a plastic box (away from the top and sides, sure).

I always forgot to share this tip, (I've learned the hard way with my carpro sponge), don't let the 'rubber' side of nanoskin in contact with anything for storage.

It'll slowly degrade, and blend, 'glueing' to what it was left in contact for some time, it'll really damage your nanoskin.

Tupperware looks like a good option,

but beware to not let rubber side in contact with plastic borders or even the cap of the tupperware.

If I am to let mine in a container like this, I would let it MF side down, rubber side up, minimum 2-3cm far from contact with anything. That will preserve it for a long time.

Thanks for talking about this issue,

To wash it, I just rinse in plain water until rid of all lube I've used.

I've 'rolled' it and gently squeezed for some months and haven't seen any problem with gentle squeezing.

To dry it, I let it 'rubber side up' on a grit guard, then store it after 1-2 days (fully dried).

Sometimes I apply quick detailer to it and 'work it with my fingers' to let it a bit softer... looks more 'placebo effect' but I feel it smoother, after many uses I do this to soften the mitt.

I have both fine and medium mitt,

Kind Regards.

uh,...think I'll stick to clay bar. I can't afford to spend the time correcting paint if all I was doing is a wash and wax/sealant.

I always make sure I do a test spot with Nanoskin. That way I only have to correct a small area if I find out it mars the paint.

Thanks for the input on Nanoskin, I also have the Optimum Sponges which I have used and like very much. I will let you know how Nanoskin works for me!!
