Using the pc gives my teenage son a BADLY swollen hand...why?

It happens to me, too. My right hand swelled up, and my thumb was numb for a couple of days. It goes away if you can keep your hands off the PC.

How long Does he use a computer? Maybe it aggrivates the beggining of Carpal tunnal! Weed Wacker does it to me for about 2-3 hours. I trace it to the computer usage at work. 8-10 hours a day. A pc, unix an ec2k. Could be the computer.
