Volvo paint hardness?

Generally speaking.
I bought a used black hood for testing from a C70 with OEM paint. The hood is nice and flat. Curious to know what the hardness might be.

It's mostly on the harder side. Not german cars hard but a notch softer than them. And it's just generally speaking

I would suggest you read Mr. Phillips post on a test spot. No one can tell you over the inter web what the paint is like. They can change clear from one car to another on the line.

Guys, I’m well aware was a test spot is, and I’m well aware hardness varies from car to car. This is a *test* hood I will be using to test many products, pads, etc. I haven’t received the hood yet, it’s still in transit. I was just curious what the average Volvo is in terms of paint hardness, that’s why I said “generally speaking”. We don’t have many Volvo’s in my area. Moderator, please delete thread.
