Had the chance yesterday to detail a pepper grey 6R polo yesterday (my 2nd detail). The car is a daily driver, parked outside and had never been detailed before. Please excuse the terrible pics, but 1) I don't have a decent camera and 2) even if I did, I am not a photographer.

First up wheels were washed using Turtle Wax - Platinum Series Performance Wheel Cleaner and a Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush and were then treated with some Smartwax Rim wax and tires dressed with Meguiars Endurance tire gel

The car was pre-soaked with Chemical Guys Maxi-Suds using a foam lance and the wheel arches, badges etc soaked with some APC. It was then washed with Meguiars Gold Class shampoo using the 2 bucket method.

Then clayed (this was the result after claying 1 panel  )

Quite a few swirl marks were evident, however I couldn't capture them with my camera/skills.
I used some Meguiars Ultimate compound on a LC Orange CCS pad followed by Chemical Guys - Wet Mirror Finish on a Green finishing pad. This was then followed up with Meguiars NXT Tech wax 2.0

The results.
