VX5000 - quick review, more to come

Hi! I am new to car detailing and to steam cleaners. But after a lot of research I ended up buying VX5000.
My question is: the pressure in boiler (in my case) does not go higher then 4bars when not operating, and when I turn the steam on to the highest setting it drops to 2 or even lower (the arrow almost touches the red line). Is it normal?

Is it enough pressure to steam clean car interior?
I tried it on my Nissan 1994 (it hasn't been cleaned for 7 years) and the seats and carpets do not look that great. It took me an hour to clean just passenger seat and carpet underneath and the stains are still there (I didn't use any cleaning products, just the steam)they just got lighter.

I am a little disappointed, since from reading comment on this blog about VX5000 I expected it to work better.

Thanks ahead for your replies.

I own this Steamer and that is normal when you first start operating the machine. The reson being on your initial blast of steam you are basically filling the hose, then the machine will need to build its pressure back up. After a few blast you will barely notice a drop.
As for the seats, you must remember that each tool has its place. The steamer is great at freshing up cloth interior and removing some light soiling. But if your looking for a deep cleaning then nothing beats hot water extraction. Each stain is also different and needs to be attcked with different chemicals and processes. A mist of APC on your seats before using the steam will also give better results. Some stains you actually want to use an "iron press method" to remove. Spray with the appropriate cleaner/lifter, cover with a towel, use your steamer or a iron and press. The stain will begin to transfer to the towel. Spray again, move to clean section of towel and press again. Repeat until clean, but throw those stained towel away to avoid transfer to other parts of the car.
Hope this helps.

I bought it from Steve( Steam Cleaner Direct)
I called him, but didn't get a straight answer, when I asked if it is normal - he said yes, but then offered a replacement.

What are good continues fill steam cleaners out there ?

I couldn't swallow the price tag, ha. I'm too happy with my cheap steamer.

The difference between the two machines that you're talking about are the PSI's the one you're talking about only has 45 PSI which is very very low the vx5000 is in the 90psi

Very big difference
