Washing micro fiber Q??????????????

No, I just have some experience with uniform companies, shop rags, etc. Maybe most places don't mix them...it just seemed that way, we had one place for a long time but then they went out of business...maybe because they were mixing everyone's stuff together!

I honestly can't see them segregating shop rags/MF's, but what do I know.

Unless they are pulling all the tags off cause they noticed my trick, haha.

I've never had a problem with the MFs. The main reason I do it, is cause they get them so much cleaner than I can. No matter how I washed mine...it never really seemed to work as well. Plus, it's a HUGE time saver for me. Spring, summer, and fall I definitely don't have time to mess with towels.

I'd rather pay up and spend my time making money!

I can spend an easy hour or two every other day when I'm busy cleaning towels...It almost seems worth it to look into it!

So some ppl think that these laundry service companies don't have the time to separate MF's from other rags, yet you think they really have the time to separate them after they are dried? Think about that one.
You can soak you mf's in your washer then run them through a wash cycle and save time as well as take care of mitigating any film being left in the washer. Front end loaders are where it is! Saves money on water, detergent, and cleans much better. However, soaking your detailing stuff in a bucket or sink for 15 minutes then rinsing them helps immensely and doesn't add much time to the process. IMO/E it is worth it and the process I use everytime; I had MFs that were in use for over 5 years before being tossed. I still have a Microtec MF towel that is over 7 years old, and a few Cobra Guzzlers that are almost 7 years old. Just saying they can be cleaned, and last. The biggest thing is to not let MFs sit around dirty so that they wash cleaner.
You can always give the washer tub a wipe with a white paper towel to make sure that no residue is left to dingy up you cloths. I have never had an issue with it.

best way to maintain microfiber is to mix microrestore with pinnicles microfiber wash for clean and mainly makes softer and staticly correct! mix one capful/ gallon sqeeze and fills in up to so much which measures the amount going in, one scoop as directed of each and and wash with one final rinse and towels are perfect, 10 years of washing microfiber and these two combo's work the best!!!!!!!gets all grease and stains out and very clean and staticly charged to pick up dust and clean much better!!! depending on size of the load being washed create your own ratio and see the difference!!! will not be disappointed!!!! wash in warm and dry on air only!
