I did a test panel on my hood between the 2 waxes, and to my surprise, signature series II sheeted water faster than Fuzion. Also, it *seems* that Fuzion darkened the paint more than sig series II. Just some food for thought.

Were they both added at same time initially ?? If so, thats something cool to note.

Yes, they were both added at the same time. I prepped they paint with WG pre-wax cleaner to remove old wax, then did an IPA wipedown to remove all oils leaving a bare surface. This is not a knock on Fuzion, just something I noticed.

I have done this same test, just never documented it or posted, SigII to me is parallel to Fuzion and with the price difference.....well

I don't really find it too surprising. IME, SS II is more of a beading wax, where Fuzion is more of a sheeting wax. Therefore, if you use the flooding method, the water should sheet faster on the side with more surface tension, e.g., the side that beads water rather than sheets it.

Hey Mark, how'd you like the WG PPE?

Hey Tad,

I really liked it! I used a DA and a white pad to apply it, let it haze, and wiped it off. It left a slick, glossy finish. Seemed to remove the old wax. However, since I was testing a few waxes, I wanted a bare surface, hence the IPA wipedown. When I apply Fuzion next time, no IPA wipedown after the PPE. Thanks for the sample! :props:
