I just ordered Diablo specifically for weekly cleaning of my wheels that are in excellent condition. What's a good ratio for weekly cleaning? I ordered CarPro Trix for when I come across heavy contaminated/dirty wheels.

For heavy duty cleaning Diablo can be left more concentrated 1:4 or 1:6 for regular. This is off their website. I use this stuff at 1:4 for my car.

Mark, I've gone through a few gallons of this stuff. Your wheels are way too clean for 1:6. I would try 1:8 or even 1:10.

Trix is some knarly stuff unless your wheels are real contaminated.

Thanks guys.

:dblthumb2:

I was thinking 1:6-1:10 as well. I'll try in the middle.

Most of the cars I detail, the wheels are pretty contaminated, especially the barrels. TRIX will make quick work for me.

Now diluting the diablo would I be able to use it As a soak like the poor boys wheel rinse ? Basically spray on and hose down with zero dirt left so there is no need to clean with a sponge or agitate the dirt ?

Also what else can diablo be used for?

Diablo definitely needs to be agitated. It's not an acidic wheel cleaner like PB's Spray & Rinse. Diablo is safe for ALL wheel finishes, unlike PB's.

What else is it used for ? The PBs rinse works well but leaves a white haze after spraying it and hosing down. I'm sure pro long use will damage my clear coat on the rims.

im thinking about getting this myself, but its in between Diablo and Grime reaper from CG. i think grime reaper is a APC though?

so what would you recommend for wheels and tires maybe some engine bay degreasing?
If your wheels are clear coated, I like DP Cleanse-All Exterior Cleaner. Optimum Power Clean is another good one. Meg's APC+ isn't bad if you want something more inexpensive.

I dilute mine 3:1. My brakes dust up super quick.

I use Megs D103 APC 4:1 dilution, its cheap and works like gang busters.

I have used grime reaper, but I find the Megs is way stronger.
