Well this takes the fun out of everything, doesn't it?

Starts with BMW, then moves to other high end imports. Do not wax or polish. All you high end detailers take note. Maybe time for a change in the old business plan.

it is something to definitely think about. I mean to the end user, what a great selling/maintenance feature...paint that doesn't ever need to be waxed. For us as either enthusiasts or professionals it sucks but otherwise is a fantastic idea.

"deep metallic color" wtf is he talking about? It looks like a regular flat paintjob.... no reflections, nothing. Looks like crap.

I wish I had that car:

Wash
Clay
Sealant
Wax

No more, just simply wash twice a month with soap, that would be great.:props:

Sure, easy to take care of...except your car has absolutely no reflection, barely any shine, and looks like matte orange peel on wheels. Screeeeeew that! lol

Looks like the way the police cars were painted in the first RoboCop movie.

Looks nice - But I see in the near future hacks jacking it up for sure. "Of course I can compound that scratch out - Ive done it a million times." Or , " Just needs a layer of wax to protect it from the elements [Apply, Let Haze, Attempt to Remove, Run like Hell!]". Oh yeah, its going down in the near future!

Is this a powder coat? Looks like it. What about body work. Back to the dealer.$$$ Dents and dings? Back to the dealer$$$ IMO

I honestly think it looks pretty cool though.

You just would have to buy it brand new. You know for sure the used ones will look like ass.
