Well the wind finally died down today. Been windy for the past couple weeks. Went offshore with a friend of mine in his new boat.

Was a good day. 1-2 foot seas, clear skies, and about 88 degrees out. Brought home a few good snapper and a couple red grouper!

Awesome. I mainly do freshwater fishing, but I've been wanting to go out of the Gulf or even on a charter type fishing trip.

Those are some good keepers! The crappie fishing in central PA has been great so far this year

Awesome, I went fishing too! I've got a little river by my hometown that's stocked with rainbow and brown trout, and I've got them figured out. (Not that complicated really)

I caught about 100 of these today (and about five 15 inch browns, theyre getting so big!) and didn't even get on the water til 8 am!

Those things are a good size. I have only been deep sea fishing here in California. Have caught a few baracudas and yellowtail they put great fights. I want to catch a 50+lb tuna

looks fun...

do you let the fishes go after or do you keep them as pets?
also, do you need any sort of license to go fishing?

I have gone fishing like 7 times, twice lake the rest aqueducts. I have all the equipment, bait, chum. night lights I have it all except I never caught a fish haha...

I even bought a grill at a yard sale for $10 dollars the first time we went fishing, had ice ready in the ice chest the whole shabang and nothing

Did the fish have the wet look once caught? Lol

lol, those fish he is holding (snapper) are definitely not getting thrown back, and I kept my trout yesterday too... Sushi indeed!!

Nice fish Man!!! I was thinking about starting a fishing thread on here.

The photos are really dark but here are a few channel cats I caught in a little district called Shipoke, just above the Dock Street Dam on the Susquehanna River here in Harrisburg PA.

The cats were hitting creek chubs hard that night. Fun for sure.

That's what I was fishing for (catfish) in the LA Aqueducts lol, what did you use and what is the secret? Haha
I'm thinking maybe we picked the wrong location, as in spot?

You fried them? I love cooking... 😎

Seasoned them or just patted them dry and threw them in the fryer? Did you use your MF's lol.

Yep, we will cut some into strips or fingers and deep fry them. Most of it will get grilled though.

LOL @ the micro fiber comment to pat them dry!

Nice Fish..
I work full time at the last catfishing pond in texas.. I have probably cleaned around 11,000 lbs of fish since January. (6000lbs just during 1 week of spring break). You would not believe the amount of people that love catching fish and do not eat them..
