Here is a project I completed last week. I had a customer who had major oxidation on the transom of his boat.
To complete the job I did my normal wash, then started color sanding with the Mirka Abralon disks. I started with 1000, and worked my way to 4000.
Once completed I used Marine 31, Capt 1 step compound. I used LC CCS Yellow, and then polished with a CCS white pad. Finally I waxed using a Marine 31 Sealer with Carnauba.
All of this was done with a Flex 4301. The first pic is a split before and after. The second, is the transom once completed.

Very nice job bud, quite the transformation.
Boats are fun to work on (sometimes) cleaning the pads after? not so much hehe.

That looks great! Wet sanding sure saves some time with removing oxidation from Gel Coat Boats.

Can u clean the Mirka disks or are they used for one section and then tossed
