Hello,
I have a 2016 camry with tri-coat blizzard pearl paint job(decent amount of metallic flake).
Upon purchase in fall 2015 I gave it a good wash with ONR(used it since day 1) , a complete claying followed by a simple wax donated by a friend. I was amazed by what simple claying and decent wax could do.
Fast forward to now getting ready for summer, I am looking to step it up a notch considering appearance and protection(harsh northeast sun, car stored outsine). My budget has been raised to around 100$, I know thats not much but I am a young 20 something year old living on that good old college budget. I do not have major swirl marks or water spots, only very few of those single long scratches(spider scratches?)
I have purchased WG rinseless uber wash and will be using that all spring and summer.
After minimal research my list of products and procedure is as follows:
Iron x. 18.00$
Old fashion clay
WG Polish Enhancer(2oz sample 4.99$)
WG Finishing Glaze 3.0 (2oz sample 4.99$)
WG Deep Gloos Sealant 31.99$
Tools:
Alreadh owned microfiber towel
Meguairs foam applicator 4 pk (4.99$)
CCS euro hand foam applicator 3 pack; 1 white, 1 red, 1 gold. (12$)
Using only the sample sizes ordering from autogeek will cost 77+ shipping
I know the sample sizes wont last long but are they even enough to do the smaller body camry? I wont lie, I was sold on the reputation of WG and did not do to much research into other products. Although I have looked into a couple poorboy products, as well as collinate( good marks for reviews and decent price for the amount of product.)
I am obviously new to this so all critiques are welcomed. I have read that using the polish enhancer and glaze is redundant?
Basically is this a solid treatment for the money to last me through the summer or should i go for another brand that makes more sense economically.
Thx in advance for understanding my lack of knowledge and explaning things better.
Also shine is a factor!
