Bad Times At The El Royale
Weird, but strangely gripping, I certainly wanted to find out what the deal was, and was pleasantly suprised a number of times.
 
looking forward to the swimming aspect of the upcoming olympics. not to discredit the winner here (FINA world championships) in the 400m fresstlye, but katie was sick (nausea/vomiting) and spent days in the hospital...


but... she won the 800m!


and congrats to this young man for beating michael phelps 10 year old world record. definitely someone to pay attention to in the upcoming olympics as well...


a lot of world records being broke and set, just goes to show the competition is rising and you can't be off your guard...
 
Just binge watched the whole of Love, Death and Robots. Thought it was brilliant, really different and some of the graphics are phenomenal. Some of the episodes could be made into full movies imo.
 
Just finished Queen of the South. Now starting on Suits.
 
Watching Good Omens right now. Fun little mini series from the book.
 
Ballers, Peaky Blinders and Power all come back on the same day I think! Nice.

Not a huge fan of the opening week though.

Too many 56-3 blowouts.

But will only get better.

Was not expecting to enjoy this as I find the Xmen movies average at best but as a turn your brain off visual and audio blast it ws enjoyable. I would sy it trumped Captain Marvel for me.
 
no matter how many times i watch this it never gets old. sometimes when you hear a song it reminds you of a certain time or place, this reminds of San Diego (a lot of hills) whenever i drive down there...
 
Midsommar. Wickerman like story of odd Swedish cult / commune. Enjoyable if a bit long. 7/10
