btw, i was reading that many owners of pets had left them behind during Irma and IIRC are going to be charged. hopefully and rightfully so, i can't believe some people would do such a thing. it's like leaving a family member behind... :mad:

That's AWESOME.... I'm so tired of people that have pets just "throwing them away".
Would you leave your kid behind??????

I still think there should be a strict screening for people who want to buy or rescue any animal.
 
I agree, my wife worked at a doggie day care a while back. She said people would ask them if they wanted the dog because they didn't want the dog. After her work was able to find a home for the dog, the same person would come back a few months later with a new dog. Once you give up a pet you should have to legally give up that privilege for life.

A friend told me that his best friend had gotten a dog. Maybe 6 months later he surrendered the dog because he "got freaked out by the responsibility"..... yet him and his wife have 2 children now.

I told him never to have me meet this guy because I would so tell him off. I have zero respect for this guy. I'd like to see him give up his kids because he couldn't handle the responsibility :mad:
 
Yup I completely agree. People are the worst.

Maybe he will one day. Sounds like the kids would be better off...........
 
I don't know anymore I went to a swap meet and bought a truck load of movies for resale and I have been watching movies and eating snacks for months on end. I just started working again this week.
