Ditch any and ALL added oils and cut back on animal proteins. Oils are totally empty of any nutrients anyway and just put on lbs. Try and make it a point to integrate some oats, black or navy beans, barley, and other foods high in soluble fiber into your meals. Something as simple as a small salad with black beans on it works. For breakfast I make it a point to put wheat germ, flax seed meal and chia meal in it too. Good luck!

I have not eaten fast food for more than 4 months. I eat salad and cream soup usually

A real Polish delight...already! Had this during my lunch hour, hard to eat one of these while driving, powder sugar all over the steering wheel, work coat and pants, LOL!

BTW it was raspberry inside!

Lunch yesterday. Panera, black bean soup, salad with balsamic, water and an apple in place of the bread.

Sticking with and coming along just fine on my new lifestyle of whole plant food living. My "six pack" is back. Haven't seen it for nearly a decade Im the MAN

Weighed in at 177.0 as of this am so I'm starting phase 2 of my plan given its March 1. Workouts begin tonight!

New goal is 169lbs as I want to have some flexibility +/- 5lbs in my life. That keeps me under 175 even in a bad week. Now I'm looking at 1.5lbs per week so I can hit my goal by April 8 in time for a work meeting we have in California on the beach

According to my app. My daily budget jumps to 1,650 calories per day which is up from the 1400 it was. Slightly less weight loss needed per week, I can eat more (if I desire) and hopefully I can hit it early. It's so much nicer only chasing 8lbs to lose vs the nearly 30lbs which is what I will have lost by then.

Once achieved I'll be back to my weight level from back in 1996. Who says you cant turn back time!
