What are you listening to...?

Black Sabbath- War Pigs

Have you ever heard the alternate take? IIRC its one of Ozzy's somewhat recent solo releases, sounds very cool, different words and arrangements!

When I saw the reunion tour back in 99' at the Palace of Auburn Hills and they played "War Pigs" you could barely hear Ozzy singing the song over the 20k singing along....gave me goose bumps!

Some of Bob Marley / Bruce Springsteen is a Must a long with Tina Turner

This is the type of music We like to play the most at Our Shop here in South Baja!!!!

After getting off work late last Friday which only gave me a 45 minute nap before I drove back home to Detroit, I turned to my TuneIn app and played 80's hair metal almost the whole way home....it worked, I didn't nod off once!

New Alice in chains, Devil put dinasours here. not feeling the entire CD just yet, will give it a couple more listens before form an opinion, "stone" and "hollow" are good songs though

Sucks there's no station here in Chicago that will even play it! I liked the last song from their last cd that I heard, the singer really sounds like Lane Stayley....chilling!

I am a die hard AIC fan and to me Staley and william duvall don't sound all that much alike. Duvall does a great impression of staley in concert IMO many of the songs on the new CD are way too slow in developing, and several are too long as well. I don't expect AIC to ever sound like the staley days but I miss the "Dirt" cd sound. all that being said it is better than most of the crap being put out by some modern rock groups, and is better than not having a sludgy alternative.
