Thanks Vegas, I've got the DVD with him playing that and the song is called "Hear my train a comin'. To the casual fan he may appear as a psychedelic rock star, which he was ultimatly but rest assured, he was a bluesman first and foremost!

"Prince" Rogers Nelson is my favorite all time guitarist even though I HATE the song Purple Rain.

I've always respected Jimi's limited, yet highly skillful repertoire. No telling where his talent would have taken him if he hadn't departed this life at such a young age.

As for the blues, there is no other genre (IMO) that is as diverse, nor is as covered ~maybe even coveted~ by major artists over the generations as this emotional category.

Jimi will live forever through his music.
