they are the pioneers of the post-hardcore music movement and came from punk/hardcore background. slip is a classic album and if you don't own it, I highly suggest getting it. great album from start to finish...

been listening to a ton of Seether, literally have every song they have ever recorded on both Ipod's and have them on heavy rotation!
