I love the pop from my teen years. Phil Collins, Whitney Houston, Elton John, Michael Bolton, Toto, Sting, George Michael, Celine Dion, Expose', Belinda Carlisle, Alana Myles, and a ton of others from the 90's. Even as a drummer in a heavy metal band, I'd listen to that pop music because it was good. Basically it was 100.3 WNIC from the late 80's until they changed the format a few years ago. Nothing has replaced it. There is no new pop acts coming up either, and hasn't been for years. Today it's all psudo-tinged hip hop, with idiotic lyrics, and computer generated padding.

As far as the skinny jean wearing, body waxing guys, I can only deduce victims of "demasculinization (programming?)"... I started noticing the feminization and/or marginalization of men just recently, in popular culture...

A good dose of AC/DC should cure that mess.....................!!/QUOTE]

I think O Holy Night is one of my favorite Christmas songs. Perry Como's version is especially good with the strong voice but compassion the song needs.

The "Hot Rod Holiday" cd put out several years ago by Hot Rod Magazine is my favorite Christmas CD.

Elvis's Christmas CD is a close second,and "Blue Grass White Snow" by Patty Loveless is great as well.
