absolutely! that's when there was interaction (it was more personal) and you could get caught up with others on what shows were going on (flyers), etc, etc,. you don't have that anymore (internet and illegal downloading are what helped kill it). one of my favorite zines was this one (have read it from the beginning), i learned alot about different kinds of music and different political standpoints and views (among other things). i'm glad i grew up and listened to alot of the pioneers of the music i like when i did, music is just not the same (for the most part) today...

Ahh.. those were the good old days BigAl3. The internet definitely killed the music industry. I try and go to as many shows as I possibly can on my off time and there are a few really good young bands out now but most are just cookie cutter bands.
