What are you listening to...?

More of an Ansley Dunbar fan but then again I feel Gregg Rollie Journey is best Journey.

Ansley is a true beast. I also loved his work with Whitesnake. Crying In The Rain... I stole a bunch of chops from Ansley.

How interesting it would be to hear Ansley's take on the big journey hits..

Did you know it was a coin flip between Mitch Mitchell and Ansley Dunbar to be in the Experience? At least that's the story I read or saw something about.

If you listen to music on the internet, try radio station The Oasis 95.9 in Palm Desert, CA. I live in Illinois but love the desert. Got hooked on it while on vacation there but listen to it all year round. Have wireless Sonos set up in house with several speakers - love it!

IMO their first two albums are the best and like many other bands it seems like the music/creativity starts to go downhill after a few albums. these guys still rock though...

My wife and listened to new and old Collective Soul tonight, and a little bit of some old Foreigner.

My Dad gave me his old stereo set-up,and I brought home all of my old 45s and LPs. I have listened to them quite a bit in the last couple of weeks. I love vinyl! The bad thing is that I played the crap out of my records when I was a kid so some of them are pretty hammered.

you can't beat the sound of vinyl (example below of a classic song) and i'll take listening to it over cd's any day/time of the week. it just feels more at home with me with the little pops here & there and almost feels like the band is right in front of you in the studio...
