Bob, I literally just got home from visiting my Grandson, oldest daughter and her fiance and clicked onto this sad news, just E.C. left from Cream now or as the guy on the BBC first called them The Cream.

I mean where do you start with this band, short 3 year shelf life, just like The Jimi Hendrix Experience yet they influenced everyone. The sound made by those 3 guys was incredible. Bob you said "Toad", no arguements from me but if I had to nail down a song for someone to look up and listen to would be "I'm going wrong", just listen to that underlying drumming, solid! In this world of disposable music and no name players, THIS is a huge loss to the world of music, ACTUAL music

If there's someone out there who hasn't heard of Cream and wants to hear and/or listen to what Bob and I are talking about, here's a small list to get started:

-Swlbr (spelling)
-Tales of brave Ulysses (listen to the words)
-Born under a bad sign (Albert King was surely proud)
-Sitting on top of the World (Chester Burnett aka Howlin' Wolf was also surely proud)

Everyone knows the popular songs but try the above songs out, gems!

Cream was also Jimi's favorite band. That says a lot about Ginger, Jack, & Eric.

Spent most of the day listening to Black Sabbath and Ozzy while working on the car.
