Ummm, Mob Rules is an AMAZING album...no Bill Ward but a monster none the less. That said, Bill Ward was overshadowed in his career, damn those "New Yardbirds"The only time you can go wrong with Sabbath is when there is no Bill Ward involved !
...and pretty soon Mr. Paul I'll feel a snowflake freezing meeeeeeeeJay, "Snowblind" & "Hand of Doom" have always been my 2 favorite Sabbath tracks.
But, you can't go wrong with any of them, IMO.![]()
The cowbell on "The Wizard" subtle but WOW....are you kidding meA little classic Sabbath ...
Was listen to a YouTube reaction channel I've been following for a while, Soultrain Bro and he was reacting to Rainbow's "On Stage". I've gotten into them a bit more as new stuff hasn't touched me yet or hasn't gotten to me yet and I've always felt they were about 10-15 years ahead of their time! I mean listen to "Man on the Silver Mountain", does that REALLY sound like 1975

Ronnie James Dio!!
Although not RJD, "Back Alley Driver" from Rainbow is what I call a speeding song, damn that song is a DRIVING FORCE! Good thing I've only got about 215 hp in my ESI'm partial to Rainbow's Rising album as Blackmore and RJD were joined by the immortal Cozy Powell on drums !

...or the live version of "Space Truckin" from Made in JapanI always seem to catch myself speeding when I play Deep Purple's "Highway Star" in the car ...
