This is a good list. Tried and true stuff.

Tons of good info here. I keep seeing a few products constantly listed such as Duragloss 902 soap and Wolfgang deep gloss sealant. I also see a lot of brands being used everywhere which is good to know that, while some may be better, there are still quality products.

Hudson,

For interiors I like:

Meguiar’s Quik interior detailer. A must have for me. Just works so well I don’t want to try anything else.

Optimum Carpet and Fabric cleaner and protectant. Awesome product for keeping carpets looking new.

For me it's hands down Meguiar's Ultimate Detailing Spray . I keep a bottle in the rear of my White Denali and the wifes XT5 which is Dk. Granite Metallic which is almost as tough as black to keep clean .
I will usually clean-up my truck when I get home as the product says to let it cure for 12 hours . Then I'm good to go the next day .
Love the smell and like the results I get . My shelf is full of black Meguiars bottles for the interior and exterior . It's all I use .
Should buy stock in the company ! ;) .

For me I use reset as my soap of choice. However I barely do any 2bm washes. I also keep a reset and water soapy solution in a spray bottle to add lubrication to panels but also I spray Dow. The lower panels of my car and let the chemicals work to clean more thoroughly when I do my after winter washes. I also use the soapy water solution as clay lubricant.

I use mothers clay exclusively. The price is good and it does the job well. Plus I have to have some for of mothers product in my arsenal, just because I started off with mothers for my car.

A good versatile rinseless product because I use it so often. I wipe off polish residue with it, qd with it, drying aid, and also to wash with of course. If the interiors not bad I wipe down interiors with it as well. Before I polish, I dip my pads in a rinseless solution as well so that they're damp. Cuts down on the liquids that dust a lot and it primes the whole pad. I use onr for cars that have sealant, I use ech2o for humid conditions and I use n914 for cars that need to be waxed or coated cars. I tend to use onr as clay lube a lot actually since it's so cheap.

If the interior is dirty I mostly use chemical guys innerclean. I actually find that it has great cleaning power if it's really dirty, I use a detailing brush with carpro inside. I love the lemon scent it had and the fact that it dries clear without any stickiness to it. I don't really deviate too much from that, and of course I use carpro eraser cut half half with ipa mixture. I find it cleans up paint better and also saves on cost.

If I had to pick one of my go to products, it would be Meguiar's Detailer line. I don't have/use all off them, but for the basics they are a staple, great products for a great price. I probably use 5-6 of these products with every wash.

A few products I have been very satisfied with
are Britemax Grimeout, Poorboys Bold ‘n Bright, Scholl S20 Black, Scholl S30+, McKee’s 37 Metal Polish, McKee’s 37 Si02 Auto Wash, McKee’s 37 N914, IronX, Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer.

Awesome info guys. Definitely helps hearing what some of the main products other people use, and I know will help guys (like me) getting back into the detailing world, or just getting started. I’ll be starting a new thread in a day or two and hope you guys can help me fill my cart and even make recommendations. Haven’t decided if I would start a detailing business yet out of the garage or just do family cars. Either way, I’m excited to get back into!

Whenever a question is asked about best, favorite, go-to, or similar adjective for a product, the answer is rarely Pinnacle or Wolfgang, The exception might be Deep Gloss Sealant and Uber Rinseless Wash. Why are the others in these two lines rarely mentioned? Is it cost, or are they just not as good as competing products sold here?

WGU RW is surely on a lot off people's list, it was on mine before I coated my car!

For me, started with Wolfgang but as I learned more, found it pretty similar to other, more reasonably priced brands. I think WG is a bit overpriced based on name alone within the AG Universe. How many pros use WG?

Their Uber Ceramic is quite expensive but IMO a middling offering at best.

It doesn't do well on coated paint?
It cleans fine but I noticed a change in the finishes appearance, it was mess high def looking. I then did 3 stronger N914 WW's and it brought back the crisp, sharp look.

Interesting... I ran out of my on hand supply of Megs D114 while claying the other day and had to resort to using WG Uber @waterless wash dilution for claylube... Big mistake. By the time I was done I almost thought it could've ruined my claymitt. I've used my claymitt 1 more time since and I'm still not certain it's completely back to normL.

Based on that bad experience I'd never use WG Uber for claylube, even at the recommended dilution. I don't care, it was that bad. Lol

So the enhancers in it ruined the mitt, WOW

It was the beading that lead to the problem. It began gumming up and started becoming a mess. Kinda like trying to wash oil off your hands.
