For high output:
  • ZEP Professional - two reasons this is my favorite. First it has a great high output sprayer that is easy to grip. Second it is a standard quart bottle and fits into the 8 quart caddies sold at Walmart. Cost $4 at Home Depot
  • Spraymaster - lifetime warranty. Trigger is a long throw which is more difficult to grip than the ZEP if you have small hands. It is over sized so it wont fit in the 8 qt caddies. You cant breakk these bottles! Pass them down to your kids. They will last that long!
  • 35 oz Griot type bottle - short & wide so they dont tip over easy. You can also fit them in the bottom shelf of a Pail Pal detail cart. They dont fit well in any bottle caddies.
For QD & Spray Wax I use only the 12 oz clear pump bottles sold by AG. The XMT QD turned me on to these. They are the best for this app because they spray a very fine mist which I have learned works best except for using QD while drying. I use a trigger bottle with OID at 4 to 1 . I found that this more diluted OID streaks less on my dark vehicles.

For Pro Blend proportioners I buy the Home Depot bottles. They are very pliable so they work great for squeezing into the Pro Blend. I mix 1 part Car Wash to 2 parts water and have a no mess car wash Pro Blend precise measured dispenser. The Home Depot bottles only cost a buck!

I made my own Gummiphledge bottles for rubber seals. I got four 4 oz foam dabber bottles from an art supply site. I have one with 1Z Rubber & Vinyl which I think is the same as Gummi. I have 1 with 303 Aerospace and 1 with DG 531. I havent decided which one I like best yet. The bottles cost about $4 each but are reusable.

Tell us about your bottles!

I LOVE the home depot bottles....you can't beat them for a dollar. The Dep bottle is also nice especially since I got one free with the gallon jug of DEP orange degreaser.

The Griot bottles are nice. They have a nice strong even spray.

I also like the two setting sprayers (stream, spray) as opposed to the twist type to adjust spray. Adam's bottles use this sprayer.

Their sprayers arent cheap, but I have some that are likely 5 years old or more.

I've broken 2 of the Griot's sprayers in the last year. They were brand new. I've had 3 or 4 others for at least 4 years - they were taller and seemed to have a better "pattern" or stream. I'm hoping that I just got a defective lot. If I break another, I'll just replace them all with something else.

any photos?

I could use new bottles, I've been using the ones at Sam's Club and they are horrible.

Some extra sprayers

Can anyone recommend me a cheap, good bottle & sprayer I can get locally?
The one's I bought at Sam's club are horrible. The measurements are way off for properly diluting and it just sprays a messy stream.
I need something I can use to spray wax and APC's.

As far as OTC goes....the DEP or Home depot are by far the best with the HD being the cheapest.

I can provide some photos, but AG carries all of the spray bottles except the ZEP which can be Googled and the foam dabber bottles which I also Googled. The AG descriptions have no rivals IMO. I will try and get pictures when I get back home on Friday.
