With it being Memorial day :hungry: I know a lot of us will be firing up the old grill and cooking some BBQ. Which had me thinking, what is your BBQ sauce of choice?

I'm using Stub's Original for the Ribs today . :xyxthumbs:

For Ribs I am more of a dry rub guy. I either make my own or use John Henry's Pecan Rub or Fatboy Sweet Butt Rub ( I think they changed the name to just Sweet Rub). Sauce gets used on ribs occasionally if I am in the mood for sweet flavors on ribs.

I went to Kansas City for a BBQ tour in March. I picked up a bottle of Gates Sweet and Mild and a bottle of Oklahoma Joe's Original. The OK Joes original is hands down the best sauce. I cant find it online. Whenever I search for it I find "Night of the Living Cow" sauce. Must be their consumer version. I plan to order some and see.

As far as OTC sauce, I prefer Famous Daves Sweet and Zesty for meats. Sweet Baby Ray's original is always in my fridge as well. For baked beans I prefer the SBR Honey Chipotle. It gives the beans a real kick.

Dr Pepper BBQ Sauce, I'm not kidding when I say this is some of the best I have tried. My sister in law got it for me as a joke (I drink a TON of DP) but the joke was on her when we tried it :)

I enjoy Sonny's, I have to ship it into CA. But I also grew up on it in South FL.

Bone Suckin' sauce is good and I can pick it up local.

County Line Is also a good one If your ever in Austin I suggest a stop by for their Baby back ribs.

Sweet Baby Ray's Original :hungry:

This ^ or Famous Dave's Original is what my wife starts with. She then performs some kind of magic and kicks it up several notches leaving happiness in our mouths and tummies.

O.T.'s straight up on B B Q but in the smoker mixed 50/50 with apple juice... (off course using apple wood to smoke with)...

17th Street Bar and Grill Original sauce. 3 time world champs at Memphis in May, freaking beast sauce.

Homemade Micky D's

Take 2 parts Kraft orig., 1 part Bullseye, 1tsp. light caro syrup, heat and mix together.

We love:dblthumb2: it.

Open Pit Original..Cheap, always on sale. The best with just a touch of lemon juice.

OOPs! I've been messing up. I always liked to wash the bbq sauce down with Budweiser! LOL.

Gee thanks guys. You're making me hungry! LOL! :hungry:
