What consistency is wheel wax?

Just bought wheel wax for first time. I was expecting a paste type wax. Mine looks like a blob of jelly in a jar? Is this right?

I was a little confused when I first got mine too lol. I pm'd Meghan about it and she said it was like very thick pudding.
