Newbie to polishing. I recently got SF 4000 and did a test spot. These are the following steps that I undertook...
1) Clean the area.
2) Dried it
3) Put the product on the Orange County power pad (Hand applicator). Spread the product on the area, but it felt a little dry.
4) Put on little more product.
5) Try to apply it on the surface area, it still felt a dry and was a little difficult to apply.
6) Sprayed water on the pad. Application become smooth and but product become soap like.
7) Continued the application process until the product start to become transparent, it also started to dry up.
8) It wasn't completely dry, but significantly dry. Wiped the area with clean towel.
9) Buffed it mirror shine. Topped it with wax.
Ok, I feel, I did something wrong here. What did I do wrong? Didn't prime the pad correctly?
