What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Glad you had a great experience with KSG, its really awesome! Just curious, how did you apply it and did you wait 12 hrs inbetween the 1st and 2nd coat?

Mostly by Da polisher with a foam foam finishing pad until I tripped a break then finished the last panel or 2 by hand. I waited 18-24 hours.

Nope don't think so. If you look closely it says not available for shipment or something along those lines. Unless it changed since this afternoon.

I think it was last week or the week before I sent a message to AG asking about availability and they just said very soon.

So I drove in some rain this morning and its going to be nice ALL week, so I already knew a carwash was happening tonight. Funny thing is though, it was sunny when I got off of work and I literally couldn't see the dirt, even got on my hands and knees, only thing I could see was a light dirt "haze" on the bumper, so the TW Ice quick detailer, 2x's ontop of 2x's TWSS is really "a something"!

So tonight was the usual wheelwell degreaser dwell and P&S Brake Buster foaming/dwell/rinse and then onto the wash. Since it wasn't really dirty I did a TW Ice snow foam dwell through the IK Foam 9 and rinsed....butt, while wet, I reached for my other designated IK 1.5 filled with Griot's Garage Poly Gloss and emptied the entire 35 ounces of its container onto my car, let it dwell and rinsed off and MY GOD the beading! I haven't used the Griot's Garage Poly Gloss for quite sometime but I stare at it so often and well, today was the day! Finished up drying the car with the Sucker combo, drying the jams and quick wipe of the engine bay and now it's time for bed. You know I wouldn't do this and be up so late on a work night if I didn't just love the process so much and it's why I do what I do...LOVE THE PROCESS

Yes...I tried this live chat on AG this morning and got Meghan and she confirmed it as well. Looking forward to getting this new foamer but in all honesty, I have a problem because I now have ANOTHER foamer, not to mention the Kwazzers

Tire shine, a different ceramic coating and shine.

So not today but last night:

N-914 waterless dried with the PFM’s.

A friend bought me a couple of the 28x20 older PFM’s with the teal borders. Was a gift for helping ceramic coat. Was always wondering if these were just as good and they are! One dries the whole car.

Applied kamikaze overcoat with a autofiber saver applicator. Great for saving on sealant. I find with the overcoat (at least v1) lot smoother application if you spritz applicator while applying. Then wipe with spritz’d MF (love Rag Co Everest’s for removal). Then a final buff with a Pluffle.

That gloss with that OC!

Did all but hood as wanna let Cosmic and TWSNS go one more month. That’s as long as I can go before I wanna apply something.

Well the IK Pro will be delivered today. For those of you who use the original IK with Brake Buster what ratio are you using it at? I wanna say I've read 5 to 1.

How ironic, mine is on the UPS truck coming way today too. I do 5:1 for maintenance but have kicked it up to 3:1 before, works good either way but it depends on your needs, maybe 4:1, split the difference.

The FNW is going down in a couple hours, I'm thinking Griot's Garage foaming surface wash and follow that up with another coat of Poly Gloss, I swear that stuff kicks up the gloss to 11! I'm also going to be trying out my just delivered (thanks AutoGeek/UPS) IK Foam Pro2, also acquired some mineral spirits for random cleanings as well. Thoughts on the sprayer later on this evening, stay "tuned", maybe a pic too because that OPT tire coating has me completely sold!
