What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Finished the roof off with a layer of Lustre, topped with Jet two hours later, then wiped all the glass down with Carpro Ech2o to finish the night off, 10:30pm and I'm done. I don't think I've ever seen the roof this glossy.

Solution Finish has Over The Top Plastic Sealer that you can put over it. It's supposed to allow additional Solution Finish to penetrate it but didn't seem like it was a long term protectant.

Ha! You could say that lol. This Monday was the first time I willingly worked OT in many years...probably 3+. Been working 10s but not today cause Mila decided to pull an all nighter on us

If time and baby allows it I plan on detailing my engine bay(first time ever..) and my wheel wells. While the wheels are off I'll clean the barrels thoroughly and toss a sealant or something on them. After these tasks are done I will give the whole car a quick wash. That's the hope anyways...reality may play out differently.

The usual this morning, had some bird bombs on it after work yesterday and I wiped them, so the wash this early morning made everything "right"

I have read about people using a coating over solution finish. I have to look into before i get home.
 
Wheel rotation day. While off I take the opportunity o clean them completely. Carpro Lift over Sonax The Beast that dwelled for 2 minutes.

Cleaned the TSI today. Presoaked with OPC and BH Touchless. Soap bucket had Sonax Actifoam Energy and I used my wheel brushes. Rinsed. Misted with Koch Chemie Motorplast and let that dry for about an hour. Had to buff a little on certain surfaces but overall that stuff cured perfectly on it's own. Very happy. Not perfect, obviously, but good enough. Oh, and opted to cover alternator and battery. Wiped battery down by hand prior to misting with Motorplast.
