Even though some rain came through while on my route, I still took the EN through the touch-free wash...and it's supposed to rain tonight but hey, GOD BLESS AMERICA

Some good news, I hope and it's this, this morning I didn't notice any sap spots, is it over...stay "tuned"

Watch your fingers, don't get them between the magnet and whatever you're sticking it to. The place I used to work at sold "Magnetic Fishing Kits", the strongest was positively dangerous.

And remove any piercings

Ran the EN through the touch-free wash before work, had to wash off that storm and tornado warning look it had from yesterday

Detailing activity today was limited to clicking. Ordered: Gyeon Bug & Grime/Quick View/ Leather Coat/Glass Cleaner and CarPro Inner QD. Most of these I have in other brands but wanted to compare. I have the CarPro Bug Out that I got when I applied UK 3.0 and Gliss. I figure I’ll use the Gyeon on the vehicle I have CanCoat Evo on. The Quick View, Leather coat, and Glass Cleaner is to compare with the Gtechniq G1, L1, and G6 glass cleaner. Liked the Gtechniq glass but want to try a different brand. Also, like the Triclean I’ve been using but not so much the matte dash and L1.

Gyeon glass cleaner is one of my favorites, I think you will like it. Same for Quick View.

Stuff smells wonderful too! Best aroma in Gyeon line is Tire Express though…Pina Colada on the beach

Gyeon do good scents. Just picked up some of their clay lubricant, the scent being clearly related to the rest of the line.

Well, after putting nearly 200k on (it’s just about to crest 300k miles on the Odo), it’s time to part ways with the avant. Today’s project was sprucing up the interior for my friend that’s buying the car.

Didn’t do any carpet work outside of a solid vacuum, I figure he’s getting it cheap enough he can dive into that if he wants.

A very Griot’s day:
Dash doors and trim with interior detailer, seats with leather 3 in 1, final wipe down of the wood trim with Rinseless Wash and wax. Despite the commute, chauffeuring an 8 year old, and occasional dog hauling, didn’t need to step up the cleaning beyond the interior detailer.

Floor mats done with Interior cleaner and a soft tip libman bench brush, rinsed with the hose. Then a pass with interior detailer and the brush again. Hit with the leaf blower to clear the nooks and crannies with a final wipe down with a microfiber to make sure they’re not slick.

Tomorrow’s project will be resetting the exterior.

For some reason I was expecting that to say "resetting the odometer"

Probably because I sincerely doubt it looks like it has the mileage it reads. That friend is getting a good deal!

Started off the morning by doing a pre-wash/2BM on the g/f's Cruze. The pre-wash was Veros Ceramic snow foam, their high pH snow foam. This stuff goes on white and turns green-ish when it comes in contact with dirt

After rinsing off the pre-wash I used Griot's Garage wheel cleaner on her rims and 3 brushes to clean them up nicely. Once rinsed off and done here I turned to the 2BM

For the 2BM I used Gyeon Q2 Bathe carwash soap and that stuff is awesome, smells like 7-UP and cleans VERY well

I dried it off with a single Gaunlet mf towel, moved it into the street and finished up by applying some Griot's Garage Ceramic tire dressing, the pic was after it sat for about 10 minutes

Now she's got a clean ride while heading to work

Next up was the EN

I started w/ Brake Buster on the tires & wheels in the IK Foam Pro 9, the only way I use this product...EVER and it makes quick work of everything on my coated rims and tires. I used all 4 brushes and it's SO satisfying to clean them inside and out

For the pre-wash I again used Veros Ceramic snow foam, effective AND fun higher pH product to use. Because the sun was coming up and getting warm and muggy I rinsed off quickly and got ready for the EN's 2BM.

Since I already had the Gyeon Q2 Bathe out and I'm trying to finish it up, I used it for the 2BM. This product, used on my car, just glides across the paint...VERY satisfying! I rinsed it down and then used free flowing water and dried with the Gauntlet towel across the street in the shade

I finished up by applying 303 Slick Shine Ceramic Detailer, been a while since I used it and I REALLY like it, many quality choices in my "Silence of the Lambs" detailing closet I also applied CarPro Darkside, again, been a while since the EN's Pirelli's have seen Darkside. I use Darkside sparingly because of long it lasts, plus I've got sooo many choices and choices are fun

Oh yeah, I also cleaned all exterior glass w/ Griot's Garage Ceramic glass cleaner, vac'd it out and sprayed 3D Mango Interior scent

I must say the G L O S S in the shade is insane and now the EN is clean AND boosted up for a 412 mile round trip to Western Michigan tomorrow, love road trips
