What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Felt like doing a carwash today

I first foamed the tires/wheels with Brake Buster and let it dwell. I then foamed the car with Hydrosilex silica soap using the IK Foam 9, twice over and then rinsed down with the Worx hydroshot. I dried the car with the Sucker and medium Big Blue towel in mop up duty, plus the jams. Designated mf towel for the drying of the tires/wheels and engine bay wipe down.

Now our princess has a clean chariot for her ride to school tomorrow morning. Speaking of tomorrow, I'll be ordering winter tires for my stock rims, Blizzak WS90's and ordering some new rims...stay "tuned" for Sept 28th reveal

Not sure if I said something earlier but my one client decided to add a third vehicle to my detail schedule.

And the kitty seems to approve :xyxthumbs:

Thanks, I’m still a little nervous excited.[not about driving, just takes me a little while to get aquatinted to a new car]

Thanks!

Awesome new Caddy, Ric!!

How are you feeling, brother??

Thanks bro.
And hey I’m minus a spleen and appendix now, but I’m happy to say that I’m pretty much back to normL for the most part. Thank God.

Pfft..... You don't need those.

Just extra parts, ;)

SO awesome to have you back, Ric. You have been sorely missed.

Actually from this morning but since I had the extra time I decided to add a topper. The topper is a mix of products, along with distilled water and it's from the guy who shares his name with a popular paper towel company and resides in the largest state in the lower 48. Its mix of his WW and Sio2 spray sealant. I sprayed it into his plush mf towel and wiped it in, flipped for final buff, looks great!

Before I left work I gave the tires a quick wipe down with the Collinite quick detailer, making them evened out and nice!

Wow. Never thought of using the CQD on tires, Rog.

What did you apply it over?

I currently have the OPT tire coating on there and a quick detailer will just remove any dirt or smudges from the tires, just like it does with the paint

Cool, I'm still using mine on the riding mower after the June 13th experiment. Lmao

Hey Eldo, this was posted 2 weeks ago on MotorWeeks YouTube and thought of you the second I saw it. Digging the new to you DTS looking forward to seeing it detailed!

Aww too bad it wasn’t an ‘89 Coupe de Ville. I still have mine.

Re-worked my interior pricing in terms of deep cleaning. Broke it out to offer Carpet Only, Seats Only, Carpet AND Seats, with the headliner being an option as well. Bundled together some packages and am looking forward to seeing how a new extractor and the Tornador system both play into time savings.

So far the new offerings seem to be getting good response from those I've presented it to.

Vivá Téxas?

Rio Grande Bounty?

Lone Star Sparkle?

Big D Brawney?

Scott Dall... oh right.

Wow, a 4.5L transverse V8 pushrod 2-valve good for 155hp hooked up to front wheel drive. Thank you for posting that, what a trip down memory lane!
