What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Gave my car a bath today. It started sunny calm and 50f and by the time I got done it was cloudy and a little breezy low 40s.

I had to try this out. Not a bad price,43,at Home Depot.
We will see how well it works with a 1600psi electric.

I did a minor aftermarket mod to increase the angle for more of a working 90 degree. Cutting off the stop and drilling a third indent should work just fine.

I got a bunch of Home Depot cards and my local store has it in stock. This is my next purchase.

DFB, I really like the color of the Mazda 3, and I think it would be my first choice. I bet your sister is very happy. Also, your blue Falcon is awesome, love the blue

Thanks!

Sensation was one of three blues available at the time, the other two being Nitro (like a metallic Grabber Blue) and Steel (a jeans blue). Sensation is more like Ford corporate blue.

I'm troubled by the placement of that vise, are you able to turn the handle on that? :)

That is my stored placement. The roller cabinet moves and vice spins 90 or 180 for a better working position.

Today I put some of my Christmas and Birthday presents into use. Assembled another storage cabinet to house my collection of microfibre.

I inherited my need for order and cleanliness from my Grandmother, so I am a natural born fusspot it would seem!

Whenever my daughter’s home from college, her ride gets a good wash.

Washed my Mum's Qashqai today, using ONR for the first time. I'm pretty happy with the result. We've just had stage 2 water restrictions come in, so no more hoses allowed for car washing. The second picture shows a little friend hanging out on the bucket while I was washing. I drove there with the bucket on the front floor, I wonder if he came along for the ride.

Yeah... you're gonna have to burn that bucket... possibly the whole garage.

Of course the real question is where the spider came from, the shed where I keep the bucket, the car, or the car park I washed the car in, after using the high pressure spray at the car wash? I didn't kill it, I just chased it off the bucket with an old cloth, it's a Huntsman, they're mostly harmless.

Santa had a busy/fun season my so my girl has been seeking attention. I cleaned her up, applied another coat of Meguiar's FF and took her out to enjoy a day in the sun.

Anything with that many legs isn’t harmless :bat:

I finally got around to steam cleaning the leather seats inside my Cadillac. Here’s a teaser photo.
