After a buddy of mine posted pics of his engine bay I decided to go out and "spruce up" my own. It was pretty clean but I thought "what the heck". Grabbed the 303 protectant and got to work...BAM
It's a daily driver but it's ok to have a detailed engine bay. It's not perfect but it's pretty nice![]()

That reminds me, I took the FJ in for an alignment a couple of weeks back, I completely forgot to tell them "DO NOT SPRAY ANY OF THAT SHINY SH1T ON MY TYRES". I saw it parked out the front when I walked back, big black shiny tyres, cue the random swear words. My fault, but it's only just starting to wear off now, we haven't had any rain for a few weeks. The first day of Spring arrived with some absolutely beautiful weather, perfectly timed for my day off. With no appointments to attend or after hours paperwork to do, the day was dedicated to some detailing therapy.
After having spent yesterday at the dealer for it's annual service, the XR8 needed a wash. (I don't even have to ask them to NOT WASH it now! :laughing
Also took the opportunity to coat the rear bumper insert with DLUX.
With all the gear out, it would have been rude to not do the Mustang as well.
I had a great day in the Therapy Centre, the phone was on silent, podcast in my ears, sun shining, and no PEOPLE to annoy me. BLISS!
