This weeks detailing therapy session involved giving my hard working Ranger a quick wash, followed by my fathers Ranger Wildtrack.
I have been detailing this monthly in an attempt to keep it in decent condition compared to his previous Ranger.
With Victorian Covid restrictions easing and more travel allowed, the bug collection was a bit bigger this month. Having used a few bug removers over the years, I think this CarPro Bug-out is the best, easily lifting stubborn bugs that resist the power of my pressure washer. I spray this on after a rinse, allow to dwell for a few minutes before gently removing with a microfibre pad. I also regularly rinse the pad as I go.
After the wash and rinse down, I then gave the vehicle a coat of Hydr02 to top up what the Bug-Out may have stripped off. I have found Hydr02 to a be a quick way to give some extra shine and protection to a vehicle owned by someone who may not be especially concerned with how their car looks. Makes drying easier for me too.
Onto the interior, the front seats were given a bit of a scrub to remove a months worth of grime, returning the finish to a nice matte appearance.
Clean again, hopefully my efforts won't go unnoticed.
