What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Got the new whip all polished and ready for PPF Installation that we're doing today. Also applied DLux to the black trim bits. Next, I partially de-badged the decklid removing the "Accord" badge that was originally on the top of the driver side. Just a little cleaner look IMO. Monday-Tuesday, once the PPF adhesive is completely dry, I'll be applying two layers of Cquartz Coatings.

Thanks! It's a nice ride for sure. IMO best value outside a Camry XSE in this price segment both new and used.

Opened up a delivery today. Thankyou AG

Mustang got its first wash of the season.
Yes, that's a rust hole behind the front tire.
Previous owner(s) drove it through MN winters.

Had to take a wheel off my gf's car to get the tire replaced. Since the car was jacket up, I took the other rear wheel off to clean it while we waited for the new tire. Cleaned them with SONAX full effect and beast. Definitely better but still room for improvement.

Washed the wife’s Beast. Wheels and tires cleaned with Adam’s products. Paint foamed with CarPro Reset then washed with same. Sheeting rinse followed by Detail Spray wipe down. Adam’s Tire Shine on the Michelins then I pulled it in the garage and called it a day. The SS is a disgrace right now covered in pollen, farm field dust, etc. but it’ll stay that way until tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow morning the SS will serve taxi duty to church in the rain.

No pics of the wife’s Beast as both Tapatalk and this forums software keep telling me my pics are invalid files. This has been going on for a while and is why I haven’t posted any pics for ages. :dunno:

Did a maintenance wash on the Tundra......not that it was dirty, but couldn't stand the pollen any more. It has Dr Beasleys Ls-10 on it underneath all that yellow nonsense.....after wash used Griots Spray Wax as a drying aid.....got some nice gloss and slickness back. And, yes of course, it was pollen covered again in one hour.

Cleaned up the work car. 2014 focus. Got it abt a month ago. Washed and iron decon, clayed, polished with vss, cleaned and refreshed/protected trim, topped with griots 3 in 1 ceramic, perl on tires. Wanted to see how the griots does on a 24/7 outside car. Will do a second swipe with the griots next time I wash then see how it lasts. Washed the Ram with Griot's Brilliant Shine.

Between my 1/2 hour drive in the pouring rain on Wednesday to get my 2nd vaccine, and the damn pollen, it needed it.

After last week's wash, I hit it with DG AquaWax. So this week I used Optimum Spray Wax.

I'll keep slapping the sprays on until Memorial Day when I will polish and figure out what I want to sport for the summer.

Last summer I went with WGDG topped with Fuzion. Absolutely loved the result, but the first bird bomb kicked those two in the nads, and ate right through. Lol

So I might use those two again, but topped with Collinite 476. Or........ just the 476.

Decisions, decisions...........:laughing::coolgleam:

I have 476 on my dad's Jeep. I'm not confident it can resist bird bombs though

You aren't?

It always flicks off bird bombs like a champ for me. And that includes seagull bombs which are pretty much like molecular acid. Lol

I have a lot of seaside birds here as well. I just cringe whenever I think I'm going to get bombed. If the Jeep does, I will report back on how the removal went.

I'm a thousand miles into a 1,700 mile drive to my MN home. I'm trying out BF Bug Blocker on the front. I'm surprised at the lack of flying test examples! Even my windshield is staying quite clean at 75-80 mph for hours on end.

Well, could be worse.
We drove up to Duluth from St. Paul last weekend.
Our windshield was plastered with bugs.

Or you could coat it?

Maintenance wash for my sisters car today. Was nice to have someone to help and chat too for a change.

I'm really impressed with the durability of the Hydr02 and Beadmaker I have on this car. Considering how little effort it takes to apply these two, it looks absolutely amazing.

Yet another random scratch appears, this time on the Qashqai, fortunately smaller than the one on the FJ. Did most of the correction by hand, started with Lime Prime, then moved up to Scholl S20, both on foam pads, then finished with Scholl S30+ using the cordless drill with a foam ball, and a very light touch. Coated with NV Lustre to protect it. View attachment 73360View attachment 73361

Prepped this big girl for the polisher. 2 Layer ceramic after that. Likely GYEON Pure topped with CanCoat and possibly trying GYEON Q2 Wax on top of that for giggles.
