What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Ok, I realize I can’t top race cars and Klasse’s details from out of this world (lol, I wish I could detail a car like him) but here’s what I did today while “not” passing a kidney stone...my little buddy is still with me.

Thanks for the mention about details but it has more to do with being "detail oriented" in my descriptions but I feel I do stay ontop of my car. I think you did a great job on that big SUV, using the BEST RW on the market, great choice

You are so speaking my language. The only band that I wished I coulda woulda seen that I didn’t was Iron Maiden. I did however see Priest and Dokken but separately. Saw Motley Crue on the tour where Tommy Lee spun upside down and that just blew me and my friends away.

I saw Priest again on the same tour but Krokus opened. I saw both Crue tours with the spinning drum set as well as the one that went across the main floor. I saw Maiden in 1987 "Somewhere in Time" tour

I did a wheels off to get some of the crap from my wheel well liners and clean and coat my wheels with 3 layers of MOHS topped with Skin.

My wife gave me two gallons, M83 and M85. I don't want to change them for something else so as not to make her feel bad.
I was practicing in my practice hood, trying to understand the products, I tried with the rotary Bosch GPO 14 ce and the Makita PO5000C.
I was there during the afternoon, trying to understand how these compounds work. I have noticed two things, very easy to clean, long working times, but I can't say what the ideal working time point is. Not at what speeds, not how much downward pressure. I have microfiber and foam, I don't use wool.

when I say change them, I mean by some more modern product of megs, is what I use.
 
Added some more storage for my detailing tools today.






















The main goal here was to get various odds and ends, brushes and applicators out of my two cabinets. I now have one cabinet for chemicals and one for microfibre. And because I can, I gave the front a wipe over with some Beadmaker. :xyxthumbs:



To celebrate my newfound organisation, I got the Jag out for a wash.
