Wouldn't dirt and dust stick to the hazed up wax, then get grinded onto the paint as you remove it? Especially after a 25 minute drive?
Ever since trying Gyeon Wax about a month ago I've had the urge to try it again. I've read about people leaving it on overnight and then removing it, so I've taken it upon myself to do just. Now I'm outside 24/7 and have about a 25 minute ride to C&C tomorrow, that's where I'll remove it. The humidity kicked my ass again, think "White James Brown" out there
This product spreads well and a little goes a loooong way, so it's been laid down thin and has plenty of time to dry properly, even with the humidity as it's going to drop by morning. Now I've left wax products on overnight before (#476S & #915) without an issue with removal and the unique feature of THIS product is it needs 30 minutes to cure, it will get 12 hrs...stay "tuned"![]()
Kinda smears on glass!I don't think there's a need to leave it on longer than their suggested 30 minutes. I've only used it once thus far and it was on glass. Not impressed with it on glass. Will be using it over-top of the ceramic on our Mazda this week as it's about to head off on a 2,000 mile road trip. The PPF has two layers of Ceramic on it but I want to put it on the front and see if a FRESH layer of it will help when it comes to clean up upon it's return home.
I only have Shield and Coat, never heard of that stuff.Gyeon Leather Coating. I cleaned and applied the first layer yesterday. This morning I applied a second layer. I prefer a high gloss look. This is the result of my labor. I spread over the console, door panels and a portion of the dash just to see how dust and other airborne contaminants are repelled.![]()

I wanted to clean the leather thoroughly and figured the Strong version would be a good choice. I am pleased thus far with the appearance. I have not sat in my truck.I only have Shield and Coat, never heard of that stuff.

I can see additional clarity in the 2nd picJust applied some Wolfgang uber ceramic spray coating to the fender, polished with TW1&D LC hydro tech cyan pads and wiped with DP prep spray before hand.
Before and after pics aren't the most dramatic because I do maintain it pretty well, but I do notice a tad bit more clarity.![]()

Decided to clean up the exhaust, just the bits visible without getting underneath. Forgot to take a pic of the tip before I started, but it wasn't as bad the section visible through the rear wheel well. Used WD40 and a medium sanding pad. Mine is from mud getting baked on, leading to some surface corrosion, which comes off very easy with the sanding pad and WD40. As a bonus, the overspray works wonders on the chassis rail.
You are so speaking my language. The only band that I wished I coulda woulda seen that I didn’t was Iron Maiden. I did however see Priest and Dokken but separately. Saw Motley Crue on the tour where Tommy Lee spun upside down and that just blew me and my friends away.

Why is it I feel like a real man doing an oil change on something. I even dropped the plug into the oil like a real pro, then fished it out with my fingers.
