What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Over the past few days I've been cleaning parts of the roomie's Camaro. Did the hood the first evening, next evening I did the left fender & drivers door. Last night I did the left quarter panel, deck lid, A pillars & all the glass.
She hasn't noticed yet*, although she may have been distracted by the amount of recycling that disappeared from the garage (it took two trips)
Hopefully she notices today as I removed the coffee stain from the deck lid & the car is white.

*She doesn't notice much.

Edit: Nope....

Helped to keep my interior fresh by doing my yearly cabin filter replacement. I sprayed Adam's leather scent in it before installation.

Washed with 3D Pink, dried with a pfm and put back in the garage. I plan to drive it a bit tomorrow.

My neighbors visited their family a few States away. Grandchildren on the interior. Tar on the exterior. I used Meguiars soap sold at a membership store. I applied Meguiars Gold Class wax with my GG6 blue/red hex foam pads. The leather was cleaned with CG leather cleaner. To protect I used Lexol #2 leather protection. The wheels and tires cleaned with CG Diablo plus Speedmaster brush. I also used Mothers tire and wheel brush. Adam's tire shine. Mrs is quite pleased.

It’s made for home filters but i read somewhere to use in the cabin filters. I did this with my Mustang and it worked well

I now declare myself the “King of the Panther platform” lol.

Why can’t I meet a Cadillac collector?

Tried to reduce the kid induced scratch on my driver's door. It's definitely better, but still there. It's a finger nail catcher, so it's there to stay.

This pic really makes it pop, it's not as obvious under most lighting. I polished the bottom half of the door and topped with some Cquartz SiC, mainly because I could get a less expensive 10ml bottle. Not coated in this picture.

Washed car yesterday using Carpro reset.

Today I used Wolfgang Uber rinsless diluted into a QD. Spectacular results. Couldn't be happier.

So after the 605 mile drive home from Tennessee and 2 massive downpours, the ES was OVERDUE for a cleaning, inside and out

I busted out the big shop-vac to vacuum out the interior. I removed the floor mats and moved the seats all the way back and all the way forwards, got into everything. I then vac'd the floor mats and took the d/s F and p/s R inside for a Little Green machine deep cleaning. I then used Hybrid Solutions interior detailer on the entire interior, including the seats. At this point the interior was fresh again, time to move to the outside

I began with the pre-wash and P&S Pearl was used at a stronger ratio, with a little bit of CarPro Lift for good measure. I emptied the entire contents and let it dwell while I cleaned the tires/wheels/wells.

For the wheelwells I pre-treated w/ Alien Kleen, then 303 Tire cleaner for the tires and short brissel brush and Auto-Fanatic foaming wheel cleaner (medium strength) for the rims. It's rare to see so much brown coming out of the wheels with the foam because the ES is never this dirty

I then rinsed the entire car down and it was beading great, the Griot's Garage Ceramic 3 in 1 spray wax was doing its job after that touch-free wash and quarter wash on the trip, not to mention the massive downpours we drove through. For the contact wash I used Bilt-Hamber carwash because I know it's a HD wash, it never disappoints and didn't here either!

After rinsing all that down and using free flowing water I decided to use Griot's Garage Ceramic Speed Shine as a drying aid...damn I LOVE this stuff I really appreciated the look of the ES because it was looking R O U G H

To finish up I used my mini Master Blaster on the tires and wheels, also the grill too. I swiped the tires with 303 Tire cleaner, let dry and applied 2x's Feynlab Black Velvet Tire Coating, looking to finish the bottle up and move onto CarPro Blackout next season

About 20 minutes after I finished up it began pouring with thunder and lightning everywhere. I laughed it off and I'm hoping it dry in the morning

Thanks KA! It's a love hate relationship with the color. Sometimes she looks blue, others she looks like a navy ship.
2 colors for the price of one, don't tell Porsche as they might charge you for 2 even after the fact

I agree with Klasse. I love that car and the color is a big part of that.

The FJ goes in for its annual registration inspection this week, so I thought I'd give it a little tidy up. Washed last week, so it still looks pretty good, but it was dusty inside, so I wiped it down with 303 Aerospace Protectant. Also the wheels were looking a bit rough, so I cleaned them with ONR, hand polished with Scholl S20 Black, then coated them with Dodo Juice Iron Gloss. I may still put something on the tires, but I may not, the inspection place specialises in off roaders, they might make fun of me if my tires are too shiny. The Ranger needed it's wash this time, spending two weeks driving around in the rain.

Even the tray and chassis got some attention, re-applying Hydr02 to the wheels and outer tray. I even went over the tray with Bead Maker, she is looking super shiny now.

I also wanted to try out these new Pearl applicators with some 303 on the interior plastics.

Slightly off topic, but what wheels are those?
