What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Sounds like an even better deal if you can take other vehicles. The wash by me is one vehicle per subscription.
That's how this one is, although I could've added another for more money. I just use the app on my phone to use it so it doesn't matter which car anyways

Second wash on the “utility vehicle”. Finished up with a coat of Cure on the existing Can Coat Evo & Xpel Boost on the PPF’d front end.

My neighbor takes great care of his cars but never tried out a polisher. He brought his black metallic Subaru over and I cut him loose with a Cbeast & Finisher. We used 3D Speed followed by Poxy. Looks great. I forgot to get a picture of the tailgate plastic protector that Cerakote turned from gray to black again!

What looks like dust in the photo is the metallic.

On Monday I did a final RW on my daughters X3 using ONR before heading home Tuesday morning from getting her setup for her second year of college but first year with the car. I also redressed all of the trim with WETS and hit the tires with TW Hybrid Graphene “tire stuff”! Also applied Sonax BSD undiluted to all of the painted surfaces and wheels, she looked pretty.

This will be the last good wash she gets until December when she comes home for The Christmas break unless we road trip back to Oxford MS for a football game.

I did leave her a spray bottle of diluted ONR and a couple of MF towels for the bird bombs and to wipe the interior with, she knows about the bird bombs as I’ve come home in the past and stressed the importance of getting that crap off the paint.

I know she’ll hit the swirl o matic car wash but I asked her to refrain as much as possible….will she listen? Nah but I’m good with it!

Me and the wife already miss her (daughter not the car!)…it’s only been one day!

Drove 100 miles back to Toledo Ohio to do my Daughters car

Sorry for no before pics as she didnt save them only the after pics....LOL

Total wash/decon/clay....this paint has never been touched since day one from dealer.....2013 GL-450

First step correction....Griots fast correcting cream and microfiber pad( 6 pads)

Second step...Griots AIO ceramic 3 in 1 and orange pads (4 pads)

I could have spent 3 days on this car and still have had defects....

On the fence of what I thought of AIO 3 in 1....didn't touch the paint in the first test spots....very mild abrasives....oh well..

they finally let me out....straight jacket was awfully tight......:D

"They turned me a loose. Told me I was well. Mmmhmm"

:laughing::laughing:

Looks really good, it’s crazy hard to chase perfection on a daily driver. Let alone a 9 year old daily in the rust belt.

I decided to do a touchless wash here at home, it's been a while, so let's get to it

I started out foaming the entire EN w/ a mix of 3 oz Koch Chemie GsF and 2 oz of TWHS Slick and Slide in my Griot's Garage foam gun. I emptied the bottle and let it dwell, shady and cool this morning. I then moved onto the tires and wheels.

For the tires and wheels I used 3D yellow tire and wheel cleaner, wanted to see what this stuff was all about and I must say it's a solid product. I've been using it from time to time as a pre-treatment before going into the touch-free wash and thought it did a good job but when using the brushes on dirty barrels it proved itself as a worthy product IMO. After scrubbing the rims completely clean I sprayed some Meg's HCW @3:1, let dwell and rinsed away, onto the next step

I wanted to add some protection so I used Adam's RTU Seal 02, basically a spray on, rinse off product but I diluted it a bit in my Griot's Garage foam gun. I sprayed it on, emptied the bottle, rinsed away and then used free flowing water to flood out the channels. What's next...

Because I diluted it I felt something "hands on" needed to be used and for this I reached for an old pro on my shelf...TW ICE spray wax. I've got about 1/3 of the bottle left and I really forgot how REWARDING this product was to use and the G L O S S it left behind, my God

I finished up by sprayed some Adam's In and Out spray in the engine bay after a cleaning w/N914. It looks factory fresh, great product as it's NOT messy

Now the EN sits clean and sealed and a load of mf towels are running in the washer right now, Rags to Riches being used this time around

I did an environmentally responsible rinseless wash on both vehicles. Then I used the water from both buckets to water the flowers.
The truck got a treatment of Griots 3 in 1 and the Explorer got a treatment of Beadmaker.

Buick was the guinny pig for my first time with carpro descale, and also reset.

Ive felt contaminants.. mainly on the roof in the past while i would do hand washes. Iron remover would not touch it. So opted to give descale a try.

Car was pretty dirty, so ran a pinch of descale through the foam cannon and let dwell, and rinsed.

Then bucket washed with descale. Could feel the contaiminants were no longer present.

Followed up with bucket wash of reset.

Gyeon cure for drying aide. Megs 40 on the tires.

No joke, the surface looks and feels like the day i installed can coat evo. I will now always have descale on the shelf for the quarterly decons.

Reset will now also be a regular product for me from now on.

6AM Maintenance wash on the truck. Finished with wet wax. After an ugly 48.5-hour week, I enjoyed the quiet time.
