Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Betlejuice!!

I installed an impeller kit in my snowblower which already chucks snow 40-50 feet.

I can't wait to see this thing throw snow 60+ feet...... :)

Haha that would be cool to see.

I cant wait for the township to salt the roads and find salt crystals on our vechiles. Or the wind rows of snow along the driveway. Even being parked 10ft off the road doesnt matter. Its only one guy who does it and he is a careless asshole.

Reminds me of my zamboni driving days in high school and college when we would pick some cars out and dump from the 3 rinks outside all day... ever seen a car igloo in the middle of summer?

And yes, to be nice we topped it off with a shovel so they could dig out. We were nice like that

Gave the truck a deep cleaning inside and out after a long weekend in the mountains. My wife bought me the extractor kit for my shop vac, it is awesome! Much better than my old Bissell.

I gave the FJ some attention today, it's been about 4 or 5 weeks since it was washed, I've been waiting for roadworks to be finished, resurfacing is happening Tuesday, and I won't need to go near it till next weekend.

After hearing some of you guys rave about it, I bought some TWHS Hyperfoam for the wheels and tyres, it works ok on the wheels, but is quite impressive on the tyres, checkout the brown coming out of those tyres

Then foamed it with Carpro Lift and gave it a 2B wash with Reset. I discovered some tar contamination from the roadworks in a few places, but I couldn't find my tar remover, so I improvised with some WD40, and re-washed those areas. Then dried using TWHS Wet Wax to add some protection.

I haven't put anything on the tyre, and I may not for the moment, I quite like the natural rubber look, as long as it's not too brown.

TWHS has its 2nd "sleeper" product now, first their Wet Wax and now the Hyper Foam️ Your right about how it does on rims, so it's more of a maintence product there but with tires...THERE'S THE PROOF!

Normal maintenance wash Saturday. Finished up with a coat of the TWHS Spray coating. Getting that time of year washes will be a thing of the past....

How much Carpro lift do you add in your snow foam bottle,
I tried 90ml to 900ml water and didn't shift the dirt real well

Real quick no pics...

So I used Ceratrim on my bed cover on my truck, and after a rains it dripped all down the bed sides and tail gate and splashed up on the back glass.
Never again will I use that product...impossible to put on and a big GREASY mess!

Then I go to give the Kia a maitence wash and drop my bucket and it breaks open, I also forgot to wash the wheels as well.

Hope you are having a better Sunday then me....:xyxthumbs:

After attending C&C this morning I ran the EN through the touch-free wash, drove home and dried it off. Vac'd the interior, wiped down the engine bay, applied a light coat of Hydrosilex tire dressing and then applied a new product to the paint. This Dr. Beasley Paint Hero has been unused on my shelf for monthes, wanted to wait till the EN was coated. I must say this isn't your usual drying aid for a number of reasons️The first is the price... this stuff IS NOT CHEAP but also doesn't apply like your usual drying aid, it has substance to it, which is the second reason. I thought the Gloss was GREAT

I used about the same, I didn't measure though, just eyeballed it. Same result, it did remove easy with the reset wash after though.

Today is up there with the craziest wash days ever

We moved from the condo out at the ski area into our friends B&B in Anchorage on Friday and I was anticipating a hose and running water

Sadly they drained and put the hoses up last week because it was down in the low 20s here so I didn’t have a lot of choices

It was way too dirty for a rinseless wash, plus I don’t have any rinseless product right now

I got my wash and dirty mitt buckets and filled them both with warm/hot water from the bathtub and carried them out to the driveway

I had gone to the wand wash yesterday and gave it a going over but all the caked on crap was still there

I asked the attendant if he minded me coming back late at night and doing a bucket wash when they weren’t busy but he told me they are closing in the evening and locking the bays to keep the homeless people from sleeping in the bays and GOING TO THE BATHROOM IN THEM

Gag

Anyway, I did a prespray with a super strong mix of TW Max Power Car Wash

Don’t bother, it’s worthless, it didn’t cut through anything

For $9 I thought it was worth a try

Please don’t revoke my detailers card

I switched to a super strong Gold Class mix, did a prerinse, and hit the emblems, grill, and cracks and crevices with a boars hair brush

Then I put Gold Class in both buckets and had to really get after it to mix it with just my hands

I put 6 mitts in each bucket and got busy

I poured a glob of Gold Class on each side of the mitt for my passes and it was like molasses

I got kind of crazy with the amount I used just to give me some cushion on that caked on crap and to use up what I had

It did a respectable job so I continued around the car and used every mitt

I had no way of rinsing other than buckets of water so instead I drove about a mile or two covered in soap and went through the closest tunnel wash

It was hilarious because big soap bubbles were blowing out from the hood and grill as I drove

People got a show today, that’s for sure

It still needs work but I just couldn’t stand it any more

I wanted to hit it with my new Griots Synthetic Clay sponge and use some Megs HCW but it just didn’t work out because by the time I was done washing I was frozen and needed a hot shower

Maybe before it snows

At least now I can hit the tunnel wash a couple times a week and keep up with it

Thanks for looking

I don't have any pictures, but I did a rear end wheel off wash of the wheel wells and suspension in my Mustang.
I did it out of necessity because I rebuilt the trac-loc diff in the car and have to use a product called friction modifier.
If you don't know, it's probably one of the smelliest products known to man. It's so strong, you can smell it through a sealed bottle, inside a carboard box inside 2x gallon ziplok freezer bags. When you crack open the bottle, it smacks you in the face.
I'm lucky I have a detached garage otherwise my wife would not be happy. I actually made her park out in the street for the last week so her car wouldn't stink.

Anyway, when I was filling the diff, I got some of that product on the outside of the axle tube and in the wheel well.
I cleaned what I could with brake cleaner, but that did not get rid of the smell.

So, I pulled the wheels off and went to town with Purple Power degreaser and a scrub brush.
Lots of gunk came off and smell is noticeably reduced, but it's still there.
The garage is at least tolerable now.

Fortunately for me, the car is going to storage this weekend, so it gets to stink up someone else's place.....unfortunately it's my father in-law's shop, but at least he has other equipment in the shop, so it won't stink it up much worse.

It's 44 degrees and raining lightly here today so I went out and tried my new Griots Brilliant Finish Synthetic Clay

I used my only spray bottle of ONR at QD strength and started by claying several window until it quit foaming

I used the ONR to wipe a section of a door down and then used it for lube and gave it a go

The door felt terrible before I started and I have to say the synthetic clay got the majority of it off

I did NOT like the way it felt using the ONR though so I really didn't push it very hard and I didn't feel like adding any soap to the ONR either

I will play with it some more when I have a better claying lubricant solution (probably a small bucket of wash soap)

I will say that the same amount of effort with real clay would have probably produced better results but if the car had only been lightly contaminated and if I had time and weather for a chemical decon first I am sure it would have been fine

I don't think anyone would consider it a direct replacement for actual clay, at least that is what I am reading and seeing on the interwebs

It is most definitely not as effective as a clay bar for heavily contaminated surfaces.

So, I spent several hours yesterday washing 6,000 miles of grunge off the car

Spent an hour today wiping a door down and trying my new synthetic clay

Then we went grocery shopping

Someone remind me just why we keep doing this, over and over, week after week, year after year…

lol
