This will not be a problem next year as I'll have my 3 seasons on wearing Continental DWS06, just not sure which rims yet...stay "tuned"

I previously had the DWS06 on my Acura TL but when I went to replace them, they weren’t available anywhere in the size I needed so I ended up with the Michelin Pilot All Season 4 tires, which I like better. Same comfort level but are a little more composed when pushed harder. My #1 criteria though is wet traction and both tires were top notch there though the AS 4 might have a slight edge. DWS06 are good tires, the Pilot AS 4s are better in my opinion. Just sharing for when you need to replace them.

Those rims would look good on your car due to the sharp lines on both. I’m starting to see more Hyundais with your gray color and it does look nice.

I'll take a look at them for sure

This might sound like an odd reason to like tires but since your on this forum you'll get it...smooth sidewalls, the DWS06 has em and it appears those Michelins do too. I LOVE the Michelin Cross Climate 2 and actually almost got them instead of the Ice-X. Ofcoarse we get snow here but not like in the past but it does get cold which is an underrated reason to have winter tires...cold traction️If those Cross Climate 2's had the smooth sidewall I'd get them, look at that trend pattern, water has ZERO chance

A friend visited today so her car got the full treatment with TufShine tire coating and Griots One Step sealant. There was heavy water spotting on the hood and trunk. The Griots One Step took care of that.

Slacker! Oops, I was looking in the mirror after a day full of college football. Good on you! Results are great!

Not sure about smooth sidewalls as there is some stylization on the Michelin sidewalls but I’ll take it for a better tire. :)

And I have Cross Climate 2s on my wife’s Toyota Sienna minivan. Nice tire though doesn’t handle the weight of the Sienna as well as I’d like when taking corners. But again, the important thing to me is wet traction and they excel there.

And yeah, I’ve had some high performance summer tires and they do not like cold weather. Slip, sliding away below 30 even if dry out. That’s why I switched to all season tires since it doesn’t stay cold enough for long stretches in TN.

What machine/pads did you use, UD?

I'd have "fun tires" and all-seasons down there...if only I could be in position to live there

Gave the wife's new Bronco a quick bath before we took the tops off and went for a quick ride. Topped it off with Polyseal for now, but I plan on Cancoating it when I have more time.

:xyxthumbs: If I had a better performing car I would as well. My TL is a lower case sports sedan, ok, maybe a sports sedan. :) My older TL handled great as I had aftermarket anti-sway bars that gave it neutral handling and the aforementioned high performance summer tires. But my 2012 TL doesn’t have aftermarket anti-sway bars made for it. The engine is also good up top with the VTEC but isn’t the quickest off the line. But it is a decently fun ride that meets my needs for transportation. Once my 19 year old kids get through college, I’ll look at treating myself to a newer, likely electric car since I don’t travel more than 50 miles a day.

That’s a beautiful ride with some nice open top utility there!

Finally gave the Qashqai some attention. Lots of rain and roadworks made it as dirty as it's ever been.

Did the wheels and tyres with TWHS Hyper Foam, not much browning from the Continentals, they're not that old.

Then foamed it with NV Snow, which came out thicker than the Carpro Lift I used on the FJ last weekend, but I don't know if it removed any more dirt.

2B wash with Reset.

Moved it back inside and dried it with TWHS Wet Wax.

Then cleaned the windows with Krystal Klear Bubblegum Blitz.

Which led to removing and cleaning the wiper blades on the FJ and cleaning it's windows as well.

It's nice to see you keeping your Mum's rig nice and clean!
That's why i do the same for my mum good bye to the local car wash place
that will cost you at least $15-$20 dollars in $1 coin plus she has problems
With the lance and arm strength. :autowash:

I've been washing her cars since the 80s, the first one I remember trying to polish was an 83 VH Commodore wagon, faded light metallic blue paint, no clear coat. I attacked it with Kitten cream cut & polish. Something like in the picture below, but without the foam pad. I can't remember what cloth I was using, maybe Terry towelling, or that open weave cloth, all done by hand. My shoulders were sore for days.

Yeah, that's right, and I just found the polishing cloths, it was called cheese cloth. And you can still buy it, but I don't know why.
