What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

You may want to open up the nozzle as my IK Foamer had foaming problems due to dirt/film on the felt discs. Dirt/film seemed to be due to leaving the foaming mixture in the bottle long-term.
Yeah. The felt disc is what I'm soaking. SPTA doesn't sell replacements like IK does.

Took the EN to the touch-free wash this morning. It got a pre-wash of 2 oz of Bilt-Hamber Auto-foam, 2 oz of Bilt-Hamber Touchless and 2 oz of Griot's Garage Brillant Shine snow foam, really like mixing stuff up. I also used Adam's tire and wheel cleaner on the tires & wheels and damn does that work, even w/o the foaming tip it turned the tires brown right away and then I scrubbed them down and got alot of brown foam

I dried the car afterwards and used those DIY Detail mf towels with the magnets around the side mirrors, what a great idea.

Once I got home I sprayed some DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss on the car, applied CarPro Darkside to the tires, took out the d/s WeatherTech, vac'd out the interior, used DIY Detail Interior clean and protect on EVERYTHING and used CarPro Clarify on my windows, inside and out. The d/s WeatherTech was cleaned with Feynlab WW, as well as my daughters side of her WeatherTech. I finished up using Griot's Garage leather scent for the interior and wiped down the engine bay too.

Decided to do some work on the FJs wheels and tyres while something called the Superbowl was on the tv in the garage, weird game, lots of standing around, crouching, forward passes, and congratulating each other. Still, they seem to be enjoying themselves.

Used 303 Aerospace Protectant on the tyre, sprayed it on and let it soak in for half an hour, then wiped off the excess. Wiped the wheels down with TWHS Ceramic Detailer, they weren't very dirty, and they're powder coated so quite resistant to scratching. Then put a layer of NV Jet for extra protection. I even did the spare.

I'm not sure how safe this is, but I dress my spare as well. Although not the sidewall, just the bit that's visible hanging down underneath the tray.

I don't do the tread though, or even the back. When you go to use yours, front or back, it will be amusing.

I hope the road is straight if you need to put the spare on. Turning will be optional. :)

Got off of work early and did a Feynlab WW, cleaned the windows w/ TWHS glass cleaner and topped off the paint with Griot's Garage Ceramic Speed Shine. Also used the Feynlab WW on the tires and wheels to "even things out"

Finished up this 21’ Nissan Titan. Detail wash, claybar & McKee’s Graphene Sealant. Hyper Dressing on the trim & tires. Quite an impressive truck.

The interior of the Qashqai was showing some dust and fingerprints, so I gave it a good wipe over with TWHS Inside Job. Works well and leaves a nice scent. The applicator stayed nice and clean until I did the steering wheel.

ONR’ed the Navigator and the Maverick using Gyeon Ceramic Detailer and CarPro Elixir as a drying aid.*

Mav is wearing CQUK3 + Gliss and Navigator is wearing CanCoat Evo.

Went to the touch-free wash and while waiting in line pre-washed w/ 4 oz of TWHS Pure Wash/1 gallon of distilled in the IK Foam Pro 12.

After dodging "road thaw" on the way home I touched up the bottom sections w/Feynlab WW as well as the tires & wheels, sprayed some in the wheelwells too

Now it sits till Monday

After enjoying using TWHS Inside Job on the Qashqai the other day, I decided to give it a try on the FJ again. I wiped the interior all over with Carpro Eraser to remove any remnants of the Hyper Dressing that I used last time. The MF I used for the eraser wipe down showed some residue, with nothing extra on the Inside Job applicator, so it should be a good clean application.

It’s been about 2.5 months or so since my last wash (I think?).

I used Feynlab Pure Rinseless as a presoak, Feynlab Pure Wash for the wash and OPC for tires. ONR for interior and drying aid.

Can Coat is still going but weak in many areas. Can’t complain. May try Adam’s Graphene Spray Coating in spring or just use CC again.

Truck has been off-road about a dozen times this year. Was looking for a good snowstorm this winter to drive in but we haven't had a winter at all. Zero snow this winter.

Took advantage of the 60 degree temps this afternoon. Maintenace wash on the truck Finished with wet wax. And another coat of Wolfstiens tonneau cover protectant went on the tonneau cover.

Washed the truck. Still too cold to do anything but a chilly wash. I just feel good getting thus layer of salt/brine/sand off.... till tomorrow when it will get more. But at least it will be a new layer of salt and grime:dblthumb2:

Btw, I absolutely love those 2 ZR2's above. Both the colors I would go for too. Partial to grey but the red is a close 2nd. Those little Colorado's are amazing in the ZR2 level.

I used BH Touchless today and reminded myself how dumb I've been to be too lazy to use it even if only through the SPTA foamer. It was needed too because I think I broke my Griot's foam gun last year and ended up doing essentially a rinseless when I gave up on the gun. Overall, I ended up using a wide variety of new products purchased since winter kicked-in across both vehicles.

I have Griot's Ceramic Tire Shine on one vehicle and CarPro Darkside on the other so we'll see how they do. It was nice to get out and clean both last weekend and this weekend after what seemed like constant freezing temps since December.

I gave the Qashqai an ONR wash. It was driven in the lightest rain a couple of days ago, left it with little water spots everywhere. Would have been much better if it poured down. I dried it using TWHS Ceramic Wet Wax.
