Generally, don't do this, but after the road trip yesterday wiped down the truck with TWHS 3-1 Detailer. That was some dirty rain from Saturday's storm. All horizontal surfaces were quite dirty.

Just put the finishing touches on coating this mom van with CSL. I’m a bit jealous of how it turned out. My car is the same color but this coating makes the paint pop just a bit more than mine.

I vacuumed both the FJ and the Qashqai, then cleaned the mud spots off the interior of the FJ and gave it a coating of Meg's Hyper Dressing, no pics, I finished just as the rain was starting.

Gave the Qashqai an ONR wash, then put some Hyper Dressing on the tyres with a Bowden's All Sorts applicator.

I had to wash it with the driver's window down. When I went to put the front windows up, only the passenger window went up, and very slowly. Tried to start it up, nope, the battery is only showing 7.8V, I can't find my jumper leads, and it's good friday, so nothing is open anyway. It's the original battery from 2017, six years isn't too bad, especially as it's only drive a couple of times a week at the moment.

Fluoro lights from above, and reflected sunlight from behind me. I also use the Adobe Photoshop ap to "dehaze" and increase the clarity of the image. Phone cameras just can't match the human eye, so I use Photoshop to match what I see.


It's a nice colour, but I wish she'd gone with the lighter metallic blue.

Today was a BIG DEAL for me! I had the winter set-up taken off and replaced with Kona N tires & wheels

These were a take off set with a couple thousand miles on them. Before I bought the EN I considered the KN solely because of the rims, I like them THAT much️To my knowledge noone has done this swap yet, so it could be a "world exclusive"!

The rims are exactly the same size and offset as my EN rims (19 x 8 +55mm offset) but the OE tire size is different:

-EN's are 245/35/19
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S

-KN's are 235/40/19
Pirelli P-Zero

Anywho I had to "spruce up" the EN after the swap. I started with my Griot's Garage foam gun w/Griot's Garage snow foam, let it dwell and rinsed away. I then grabbed the just released 303 Spray and Rinse Ceramic Sealant. Did a panel at a time, rims too (even though they're TAC system power plus ceramic coated), really nice product with GREAT gloss

After drying the car I applied a very light coat of TWHS graphene tire coating. I then took out the WeatherTechs, vac'd out the interior, sprayed some 3D Mango interior scent and put in the OE carpeted mats

I feel like I'm driving a new car, in both feel AND looks, winter tires, by nature, just reduce the turn-in and road feel...HANDLING HAS RETURNED TO THE EN

Nice weekend in PA. Maintenance wash on the truck. Cleaned the tonneau cover with Wolfstiens cleaner, then followed up with their tonneau cover protectant.

Finally a decent day for some detailing.

Washed my winter wheels before I put them into storage.

Edge and Explorer got their first real wash of the season and both got a coat of 303 on the interior.

Also, I polished off some of the rust stains on the Explorer tailgate with some Megs UC. Rusting from the inside, which sucks.
