You do know when you go and buy a new one, you'll suddenly find the old one. It's almost guaranteed.

I noticed the same thing with my dolly's. I switched back to an outdoor cart with air tires for my bucket dolly. I
 
I worked with the Griot's Bug Remover more and noticed one downside. Being like a soap, it does not wipe off cleanly. You see a film on the paint. I am sure if used as part of wash process, this is a non-issue. I had to come back after with a waterless wash to remove it. But it did loosen the bugs wellk.

I emptied the contents of the vacuum on to some newspaper when I was done, no sign of that tiny little screw, I even ran a magnet over it, I did find a little rock that is magnetic though.

24hrs later and they're looking good. This is what I was hoping for after Ghost but I still need to watch that video. None the less, the fact it plays well with another brand of tire shine is very nice.

In their release they kept saying their Tire+ would be overkill but I'm not so sure I won't always apply some sort of shine after Ghost.

Anyone know if ADS Ghost = Adam's Tire Armor?

And Hyde's Rust Stopper is the greatest chemical yet. Been using it a few months and never fails. Thought about using Bilt Hamber's Atom Mac but the shipping cost from OG now is absurd.

We thought of that, but it didn't happen here, my Mum was on a school pick up run and got out of the car after, I suspect it fell into her clothes, then fell out at the school. I found some replacement screws in a pair of old sunglasses I'll never wear again, they're 30 years old and weren't in style even back then, do you remember Amber Vision?
 
I finally found a use for this

Jambs

EB210 set up with 12mm orbital head and a 1" orange polishing pad and a couple of small drops of Griots

Knocked out some pretty good scratches and left a nice finish

One other drawback to this Griots AIO is how hard it is to get pads clean compared to just about any other polish I know

When I tried it on the hood of the same car with both my 12mm throw 3” machine and my 15mm throw 5” machine with a range of pads and lots of technique variations I couldn’t get it to do much of anything

I didn’t expect it to get out a few RIDS I tried it on but it didn’t seem to phase the light swirls either

NV Finesse knocked them right out with the same pads and processes

I wasn’t expecting much today, just tidying up the jambs, but it did ok

Yeah it doesn't have alot of cut but light marks should atleast get filled and made better

I obviously don't expect you or anyone else to remember this since it was posted in July of 2021, but when I picked this same car up in Hawaii after a trip from Honolulu to Molokai on the open deck of a freight barge, it was pretty encrusted with sea salt, and after a hard core wash I discovered that the hood had some etching on it, presumably from the salt or someone/something rubbing on the salt

I had a real hard time getting my phone to focus on the actual etching but you can see it surrounding the reflection of the strip light

Anyway, on to the point

I knew it was pointless but I tried 3D Speed on a white and then a yellow Rupes pad to knock down the etching and of course it did zip

Then I got out the 3D One and another yellow Rupes pad because I "knew" that would fix it because everyone "knows" Lexus paint is soft

Only it didn't fix it

I ended up ordering a small bottle of Jescar Correcting Compound and a bottle of Sonax Peffect Finish, and some Megs Microfiber cutting pads after talking to a well known detailing shop/store owner

That is what it took to fix that hood so it is not surprising that it just laughed at the Griots AIO

I just dedicated some pads to using with it.

Last weekend, Edge got frosty, early morning wash. I think I only drove it 100 miles in the last 2 weeks, but dust layer + a little rain made it yucky.

I also noticed I need to do some minor paint correction. A few light scratches on the doors.
