What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

RW #2 today

The g/f's TAOS was VERY dirty, so after she got back from grocery shopping I got to it...immediately

For this was Labocosmetica Preludio alkaline was called into service once again! Although I 100% pre-treat with my RW having a designated RW pre-treat makes me feel 200% better

The actual RW today was my remaining Gyeon Q2 ECO wash RW...bottle finished! I chose this not just to finish it off but to add some protection, yes, I could've used Labocosmetica Idrosave but that's what I chose and besides, it's #1 or 1a for RW adding protection

A side note, as you can see the tires look good, ADS Ghost is still there but waining a bit but then again, 2 monthes old in REAL world conditions, outside 24/7 and not scrubbed with anything, today I used my tire grout sponge on the tires to clean them, that's it and I feel this product is THEE best tire dressing in the world

Enjoy the before & afters:

Just a quick cleaning of the salt residue off of my weathertech floor mat with P&S Xpress and then rinsed off. Had to drain the hose since it'll get below freezing tonight. Looking forward to when that doesn't happen again. Dried them with the EGO. Quick vacuum as well.

So I noticed some water spots from taking the TAOS through the touch-free wash last night (yes, 2 washes yesterday) and wanted to touch it up

I actually reached for Colinite 3 in 1 ceramic detailer, Slickr and I think this product is a hidden gem, doesn't help that I've got "ALOT" of similar products but I'm certain this is going to be seeing alot of use, even if it's in the door jams, it smells great, finishes great and just feels great when applying which tells me it's substantial

Good to hear. I got the two new Collinite products (Beadcoat and 3-in-1) after seeing a few reviews and they seem like a quiet hit. Good to hear some validation!

Another great day for a wash so i did one. Used Optimum Hyper Foam on everything. Used my Optimum Hybrid drying aid on the wheels, nothing on the tires and TEC 582 on all the rest

My truck was suprisingly dirty as i had just washed it 5 days earlier and hadnt driven it much. It did sit out in a few rain and snow events. Looked like it might have had some pollen on it. Thought it was too early for that stuff.

Washed winter wheel/tires and retired them for the season. I didn't feel like dragging out the hose yet since the back yard is a mud pit, so I used a pump sprayer with water and the remaining Meguiars wheel cleaner. Only used about 3 gallons of water. Saving the planet, 3 gallons at a time....I guess.

I'm kind of surprised snow season is over for you. We're about a week away from what I used to consider the end of the "normal" snow season here in NJ.
Usually I keep them on until end of March, but it's been warm springs lately.

This time of the year is always 'iffy' for snow. If we get snow, it's usually gone (at least on roads) within 24hrs.

Funny enough, I took the winter set off last weekend and we got 6"+ of snow on Wednesday morning. Roads were dry on Wednesday afternoon.

It's gotta feel right for me, like this week it's going to be in the 60's, Friday 72 and then 30 degree temp drop for the weekend

I have some sprays to finish up (tec582) but I plan to buy Collinite 3in1 or slickr.

Im getting ready to place an order for some supplies. Im on the fence about getting another gallon of Tec 582 as i still have about 1/3 of a gallon.

It does a good job but doesnt last very long but that doesnt bother me as my dailies dont go more than a couple weeks between washes and a new application of a drying aid.

I suspect these new treatments last longer but are also much more expensive than the Tec 582

Im intrigued by the Feynlab detailer. Fairly new product so im looking for some more reviews.
However it is 4X the cost of 582.
One little tidbit i was suprised at. The Feynlab Ceramic Detailer ( which i suspect has no ceramic agents in it) has a 12 month shelf life.
