Interesting. A certain online detailer with a distinctive mustache said to not clean seatbelts. The chemicals and machinery used could weaken the fibers and compromise the structural integrity of the seatbelt.Cleaned some dirty seatbelts.

Boy, I've heard that, and I think it was even before I was on detailing forums. I had forgotten all about it. That certain cleaners could affect the nylon.Interesting. Here's something I found on the Meguiar's forum, but it was just posted by a member, not by anyone from Meguiar's:
"Never use anything stronger than a mild soap solution of luke warm water to clean the webbing. Other chemicals can attack the fibres in the webbing, causing them to deteriorate and weaken. Bleaches, solvents and dyes will definitely attack the webbing.
The above goes for any sort of webbing such as vehicle recovery equipment (slings, snatch straps, etc)."
That's a pretty cool method you have, Eldo, you close the door on the belt so you can use the hose on it? Do you let it hang out there to dry before retracting it?
Holy cow, Eldo, what happened there??As far as the “webbing” becoming frail or seatbelts somehow becoming compromised due to cleaning them? That’s a bunch of malarkey… The seatbelts in my old Cadillac Deville got the same deep cleaning and they saved my life just fine. Not a scratch on me that night.lol.

I don't remember that, I've been a member here for a long time but I have taken a few years off here and there, that must have happened when I wasn't around. Scary stuff, glad you came out of it ok.You were around during that time, you should remember those days.

I can only comment on the slickness as it's the first time I've used it. It's hard to trust ANY spray sealant/detailer for longevity but for ease of use, gloss and SLICKNESS, it makes for a great stack, no doubt about it️
I read the directions and it CAN infact be used as a drying aid as well, a win win and because its a smaller bottle, if for some reason you don't like it, you'll be able to use it elsewhere and/or up pretty quickly but 1 to 2 sprays after initial prime and your good...
TRUST ME ON THIS ONE GUYS

I had a bottle of Amplify and didn't notice it like I do with Feynlab Ceramic Spray Detailer. When you grab your door handle and it just slips very easily, well, you then start checking out other areas of the carCompared to amplify?
