Yes i think Crack has a 71. He is an occasional poster on the Chevelle site. I ask him to post a pic of it. Very nice car.
The paint on the 69 is the original color of the car. However its been painted a couple times. Its a 69 only GM color. In the Chevrolet line it was called Garnet Red. I know Oldsmobile also had that same color in 69 but was called Signal Red.

That was so silly...I remember getting a little can of touchup for my 70's GM and it had 4 or 5 color names on it...one for each division.

Took procession of a couple new/repeat items today

From L to R:

-Empty flareasol bottle filled w/ ADS Pilot to keep in my g/f's TAOS (let's hope she takes the initiative)

-FREE SAMPLE of CarPro Hydro2 foam

-Katiba Gloss Booster (will be used Saturday on the EN...stay "tuned")

-TAC System Water Flow...I'll be using it this evening on the TAOS, needs a major wash

-Bilt-Hamber Traceless (Deyon, I trust you but I've gotta see for myself)

-Adam's Graphene Shampoo...sleeper product, don't have it, GET IT...thank me/us later

Simple ONR wash for the Qashqai today, it wasn't dirty but it got rained on during the week, so it needed some attention. I noticed the stone chips on the hood are starting to accumulate. :(

Every time the Rok goes out it comes back with rock chips,
Even have one under the door handle...I'm not allowed to touch them up because I've been told I'm not good enough at doing it.

Well then.............

***NEW PRODUCT TESTING ALERT***

So after running the EN through the touch-free wash and coming home I parked across the street under a nice shade tree to test a couple products...one VERY good and ones a MIC DROP!!

KATIBA GLOSS BOOSTER
---------------------

I started with Katiba Gloss Booster, went outside the U.S. to buy it as not to patronize those goof balls, so that made it a great purchase already, but how would it do

As there's no directions on the bottle I went to Google and it's a simple spray on the panel and buff away. Now you might be thinking..."Yeah Rog, they're all like that" but not true, when I applied Feynlab Ceramic Spray Detailer a couple weeks ago it said to spray into your microfiber AND THEN work it in to your paint, had to be sure

I used about 2 sprays per section and it went on so easily and a towel flip for the buff left behind a nice glossy finish. I'm pretty sure it has no protection in it but that's ok, the 3 stacks under it have me covered! I'd say this is one of those products you use before a carshow or while at a show or C&C because you can see a boost in gloss, too bad I don't have one of those gloss gauges

BILT-HAMBER TRACELESS
----------------------

So in the past couple weeks I've had 2 products just blow me away, Feynlab Ceramic Spray Detailer, had to stop what I was doing at The Bays Wheeling JUST to gush about it...and now this, Bilt-Hamber Traceless

First things first, love the bottle and sprayer, great size and you'll appreciate it because you'll be using this ALL THE TIME! On the back it talks about some "wetting" technology, not sure what they mean by this but here's what I DO KNOW...1 0 0 % ZERO STREAKING

Now as a disclaimer, I've got ADS glass coating laid down which is a couple monthes old and it's been boosted by Clarify Phobics, so this Bilt-Hamber Traceless is just a glass cleaner but that's not even fair to call it that because it's SO DAMN GOOD, NO G R E A T🤌

I'm telling you guys right now, if your low on glass cleaner, relegate it to home use, get Traceless, if your out of glass cleaner get Traceless...BUY IT & thank me later! I never thought a glass cleaner would impress me, I mean it's glass cleaner but after the initial spray I knew it would be different but after swiping half the section of glass I couldn't believe it...BUY IT, USE IT...LOVE IT

I finished up the EN by using FrankenDetailer on my tires & wheels, vac'd out the interior, sprayed Griot's Garage Stinky Be Gone Light Em Up and the usual engine bay wipedown with FrankenDetailer

Enjoy your day, ask questions if need be

I’m back with pictures this time. The Scotch Brite pad did more damage than I noticed in our initial consultation. Used my Rupes Mark V, Urofiber 50/50 pads and Griot’s Fast Correction Crème and the customer was thrilled with the finished product. It’s not perfect since some of the defects went through the clear coat but for a one-step correction you can’t ask for better results. Instead of using a sealant I went with CanCoat since he was such a nice customer and I wanted to see if I could do an entire vehicle in 20 minutes as Gyeon says and I was able to coat the paint, trim and glass in just under 25 minutes .

The moss on the window seal should give you an idea of the last time this 2016 Passat was detailed.

Here’s some before and after footage to give you an idea of the damage that was done from a dish sponge.

Finally nice weather in PA. Weekly wash on the truck. Worked in the sun. Not ideal. Finished with flex wax as the drying aid. A bit of concern. I no longer see it offered on their site? E-mailed them but no response yet.

Finally a clean car after few weeks.

Cannon filled with primus 2.0., followed by feynlab rinseless v1. Forgot how well this stuff cleans. Afterwards paint got a wipedown with labocosmetica perfecta sio2. Imo this stuff might be the best smelling product my nose has ever inhaled. Ive gone through half bottle so far. Really liking it. As of now i will purchase another bottle.

I had the same response to Trace-less when I first used it, but it was downhill from then onwards. I really wish I could say the same about Trace-less, especially considering I have a 5-litre bottle of the stuff. The funny thing is, I've mostly relegated it to kitchen countertop cleaning. However................................

I'm in the middle of exploring WHY I can't make it work. At this point, I think there are several factors leading to Trace-less creating a light haziness, and in effect, being not very traceless.

Can I ask what the ambient temperature was when you used Trace-less?

Yeah it was about 60 degrees. Maybe my glass stack had something to do with it as well, it's strong AND fresh

It's interesting that you had a great experience at first and then downhill

While I've got your attention Deyon and forgive me if I've asked you about this before but Feynlab, is it available to you

Yes we have Feynlab Australia and the stuff you tried is Available,
I was told by the inventor and owner of Bilt Hamber that the spray head has something to do with making Trace-less so good.

Oh I believe it because that sprayer for Traceless is unique and has that satisfying atomizing mist🤌

Since Feynlab IS available to you guys down there...PLEASE try Feynlab Ceramic Spray Detailer, you won't believe the slickness, thus helping with self cleaning

I've got this in the old bottle and wonder if it had a scent change at some point? I don't mind the smell but it's strong and reminds me of hairspray.
