What did you do today non-detailing related?

Nice I had a friend there this weekend. Track days are a lot of fun but expensive

They’re definitely a bit lighter than Covenant

Have been going to movies more these days, movies used to be more of a chore when it was single theatre, staring at back of someone’s head the whole time. Can’t believe it took so many years to come up with smaller theaters in multiplexes, stadium seating, recliners, tables in armrests.

Then again, 2 people going to a movie at 4:15 in the afternoon didn’t cost $32 like it did yesterday but guess ya can’t have it all

I did balk at the $1.85 per ticket fee to purchase online tix prior to show…that just seemed offensive…kinda like if the grocery store charged me $1.85 a bag to bag my own groceries.

If you can do tuesdays most theaters have discounted tickets. Also if you find yourself going a couple times a month most theatres have good subscription services. I have cinemark. 9.99 a month. 1free ticket and no booking fees. 20% off concessions too.

Watch out for potholes, small rocks, and cracks in the footpath. Most of the accidents I've seen are massive face plants from the front wheel being stopped without warning.

I changed my mobile (cell) phone plan today, not by choice though. They sent me my latest bill, and it's gone up by $5 to $55, data has increased from 60gb to 150gb. My old plan doesn't exist anymore, so when I checked their other plans I see that I can get 40gb for $45, so I changed to that one. I only use between 5gb and 15gb a month, so of course I want a plan with 150gb, sneaky basterds.

 By "going to movies more these days" I should probably clarify that it really means "going to a movie every two or three months"; prior to the past 2 years I probably haven't been to a movie in a theatre in over a decade. We did check into Cinemark Movie Club at $9.99 per month but I just don't really find that many movies that I want to see these days. Which didn't prevent me from sitting through "Mrs Harris Goes To Paris" a few months ago but sometimes sacrifices must be made

Edit: Now that I thought about it, maybe check into the Cinemark Club for 9.99; could easily hit one movie a month in Winter; wonder if you can join/suspend at will? Summer/Car Season too busy each weekend but Winter would save some $$...thanks for the tip!

Give me a 80s or 90s action/comedy/thriller anyday! Hollywood don't make em like they used to.

Yeah movies today have to have the make up of a McD's commercial

We have an old movie theater (opened in 1924) by us that we go to. Movies are $5 or $4 for a matinee. Sodas are like $2. They only play 1 movie, sometimes for a few weeks.

If we could leave the dog that long, we'd go to one of the drive-ins by us.
